Thanks for all of your TYM content Tony. I am getting my new T264 delivered today, and because of your reviews and content on them that is why I went with the 264. I have been around tractors and equipment all my life, but this is the first one I have purchased (I guess age will do that to you). Looking forward to following your adventures. God Bless!
Congratulations, and I understand the age thing. The heart still wants to go, and the tractor lets us keep going! I bumped up to the T25 last year, which is almost the same tractor. I do like the new seat, but I think the T264 had a bit more power.
I watched several of your videos after checking out my local TYM dealer. You provided great info, thanks. My new T264 is being delivered in a few days. I had them add rear hydraulics so I can use a 3 pt log splitter. My dealer, Jordan Sales and Service in Post Falls, ID has been awesome with the buying experience. They also have an implement rental program for just their customers. That sealed the deal for me. Looking forward to more videos so I can find out more ways to us my new toy.
Hi Tony, I got my T264 on Friday and I got to say it is a very capable little tractor with strong and smooth power, got the tires loaded it really helps. I added the mid pto for a front blower later on. If the T264 continues like this it will be a great addition to have for many different chores, thanks and stay healthy.
Congratulations my friend. I keep thinking about the T264 with mid mount mower. I feel like I made the right choice with the rear mower, but I am use to mowing with the Mid Mount.
Great video Tony! I really like walk-around videos that get into the details of a tractor's features, limitations, ergonomics and capabilities. I hope you'll make more of them on other models. The TYM seems like a good solid tractor and a good value. Keep up the good work Tony. Thanks again.
Great overview Tony. Another thing I really like about the FEL controls is the open center on the down stroke. I really like this after I dump the load or putting the tractor away for the night. The FEL lockout is nice too. Again, great video Tony; the 264 is probably my best utility tractor.
Good looking machine Tony. Built like a tank. I know any tractor built today over 25 h.p. has the dpf to meet the Teir 4 enisions. Thats why i bought a J.d.3025e. It doesn't have the DPF nor require def fluid. Wished there was a TYM Dealership where i lived two years ago, I would probably owned the TYM. I like my J.Deere but your tractor has a lot of options that aren't available for my J.Deere. Very good review Tony, thanks buddy.
My only "local" dealer to me sold their t264 before i got there, but seeing your review, I'm convinced that it and the mahindra max 26xlt are the exact same tractor. Having said that, buddy old boy, if you want a comfy seat with arm rest, look at theirs. I've sat every tractor on the market that is between 24 and 35 horsepower, and it blows them all away. Best part, all the mahindra labeling on it is a seat cover, so you can remove it to have a black seat.
great to see someone making t264 videos, I see you put a work-light on the rear, can you make a video where you pulled the electric from, I'd like to add some lights to my t234.
TYM Tractors liked how I demonstrated the T264. They are Letting me Demo the T474 with loader and backhoe next. We are going to dig a swimming pool for a friend next.
Branson are good tractors. TYM bought the controlling shares of Kukje in 2016. Kukje made Branson, so now TYM (Tong Yang Moolsan) owns Branson as well. They still run seperate lines , but TYM has pulled over the Kukje engine and pushed over the smaller tractor to Kukje. I guess they intend on running the two lines like Ford and Mercury.
I have a TYM. TYM Tractors is the parent company to Branson. Here in the States, they still run different lines for the most part. The smaller subcompact made by TYM is sold by both. Both are really good tractors.
@@seansysig My Branson is not a relabled TYM. TYM is similar and uses the Branson Kukje drivetrain, that's about the beginning and end of the similarities really. The controls, body panels, etc are all different. I have a 2510H model Branson, it' similar size and drivetrain to the TYM Tony has now. Lift capacities etc are all similar as well. While similar they're not the same. Rural King tractors are rebadged TYM for a good comparison.
Is there a hydrostat colling fan right under the seat on this model blowing hot air on you while you work a hot day? Do you know if you have to drop down to smaller rear tires if you get the mid mower option?
Hey Tony, Have you performed the 1st oil change yet? Heads up: the manual calls for 1.14 US gallons of 10W/30. I bought a gallon and a quart; my plan was to add the gallon and top off with the the quart. Turns out, 1 gallon fills past the dipstick so I ended up draining some oil out. Considering an oil change is kinda all or nothing, this was not fun. The protective bracket protecting the drain plug make this even more special. Nothing like oil running down your tools and arm. Rookie mistake; wont happen again.
TYMs are great tractors. I have had 3 of them. The only reason I dont have one anymore is because of my dealer. They just want to sell tractors and do some light service work. When some real work is needed and you get to utilize TYMs amazing waranty, the dealer just backed into a corner and hoped I would use it as is and not get it repaired. They either didnt care about their customers or didnt know what to do. As with all equipment the dealer support is the most important thing because everything will break down and need work or parts at some point. But I would highly recommend TYM just do some background on your dealer.
Well said. Dear support is key. My understanding, is TYM is really vetting their new dealers hard. I think it is the growing pains all Tractor companies go through. Kubota went through the same pains.
2nd day owning this tractor. Only one question. The rear PTO. Why is there an ON OFF PTO? Does it need to be in ON or PTO when you press the electric PTO? You do an excellent job explaining the functions. I have the 50 hour maintenance memorized! lol
The tractor has an option of a mid-PTO. The lever would switch between mid, neutral, and rear. Put the lever on neutral when hooking up the pro.It allows the pr Pto to turn freely.

Alex, If it is really cold outside, let the glow plug light go out. Then start it. If it is above 50 degrees, the glow plug does very little. It will not hurt it by starting it early.
Very good video I just bought a brand new TYM 264 I love it. Question for u mine sitting idling is idling at 1500 rpm with throttle completely off. I called where I bought tractor I wanted to turn the idle back was wondering if u can tell me if it be alright to turn idle back? Thank u
I saw in one of the comments below that there is the option of a heated cab. Do you know if that's a permanent installation or if it can be removed in the summer?
Tony, Thanks for the video this is great. We purchased this tractor for our baseball complex and we have already started using it extensively. I have a question about the hitch set up. The receiver hitch seems to have a large 1 inch pin and an obscure opening, it is about 3.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall. what type of drawbar do you use in this? The owners manual calls it a t-cc1 however outside of having one made specifically for this tractor I can not find one. Can you tell me what you use for a drawbar? We do not want to use the 3 point for a drawbar in some applications as the cart we will be pulling will be quite heavy.
I wish the Kubota BX had the position control lift instead of the quarter inching. I did get the Land Pride QH05 quick hitch and the standard Heavy Hitch for my BX. The QH05 does work with my box blade and Heavy Hitch without any modifications like some people have to do with the HF 100 dollar unit. By the way, did you get rid of the 2 LS tractors or just trying these ? you may have already said and I missed it. Have a Blessed Day!
Howdy! I have been searching online and through various posts and I cannot find this information. Is there a specific hydraulic fluid and a specific motor oil which TYM requires? Like Kubota requires a Kubota brand hydraulic fluid which you buy at the dealership. John Deere has their own special brand too I believe. What does TYM require? Or can you actually buy something from Farm & Fleet or Rural King a general purpose hydraulic fluid? Thanks in advance I’ve been enjoying your videos!
Both Kubota and John Deere rebrand oil from another company. Many oils on the market meet the requirements for Kubota and John Deere. I use NAPA Premium Universal Hydraulic Fluid or Traveller Premium Universal Trans/Hydraulic Fluid. Both are good fluids which meet the manufactures requirement. The important thing is to change your fluid on time. If you go with another brand, make sure it is rated for a common sump. I hope this helps.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Thank you so much for your quick response that explains a lot. So the requirements are listed somewhere in the owners manual and I just need to follow those. That helps a great deal
How are you liking the 2 range hydrostat on that size machine? I know you weren't fond of the XJ and that was one of the reasons.(other than the pto as well)
It is powered and geared about perfect. It is pretty fast in low, but will get on down the road in high. I find the XJ2025 to underpowered in low. The XJ2025 seems to slow in low to do much work, but to weak in high. The T264 will go fast enough to do just about anything you want in low. TYM seems to have done it a little better job of matching gears. LS did just come out with the new MT225s. It is the same size as the XJ2025 but has three ranges.
Hey Tony, love your videos on the T264. I have a question for you. Does the T264 come equipped with a 12 volt socket for plugging in an amber strobe light? Thank you!
Tony, TYM's website says the tractor only has around 4gpm on the lifter hyraulics. how is the speed on the lift from the ground up to the top? 4.4 gpm seems really low. makes me wonder if it's a typo. also, the screen to clear in front of the radiator, does it slide out or do you remove that air can to get it out? Thanks buddy.
The hydraulics are unbelievably fast. Most companies in the smaller tractors claim they have 7 to 9 gpm flow rate, but that is only partially true. The have one pump and a diverter valve. This systems tries to manage the flow of fluid between the steering and implements. This system cause steering shudder while under load. The TYM T264 uses a true two hydraulic pump system having one pump for steering and one dedicated pump for implements. I can promise you this, It is not slow. It is very good at low idle and almost too fast at high idle. I just installed a third function valve and grapple on my T264. The grapple opens very fast at idle. The short of it. The hydraulic flow rate will not be a problem for you if you buy it. Obviously, if you stay in what these size tractors are meant to do. Having said that, I have use the fire out of the T264, and low hydraulic flow rate has never crossed my mind. Tony
Tony's Tractor Adventure I like it a lot. Little concerned about the plastic decking where you step on, but everything else seems great. Dealer and me both were confused by the pto lever on the left side. The button activated the pto regardless of that lever. Couldn’t figure that out.
There is a metal bracket tucked under the step. I would like a actual step and will make one soon. The PTO lever just controls the gear side of the PTO. If you get the mid mount mower, it will give you that options at the also. Once the lever is on, just push the green PTO switch on the dash. It has a soft start PTO, which I like very much. It doesn't hammer on like some PTOs. Third Function install video coming out tonight.
I just started following you and was watching your vids on the LS models and was considering getting the MT125. But now I read on one of your vids that you no longer have any LS models. So I am wondering as to why? Are they not all that good or did you just switch to other brands to review to expand your channel?
LS tractor is struggling in a few areas and therefore I cannot recommend them on my channel anymore. Some of their tractors are really good and some of them are having problems. They have lost money as a corporation the last couple of years which concerns me as well.
KIoti doesn't have anything in this spot. They go from a 1400lbs machine to 2100lbs machine. Both are good looking tractors. The TYM T264 is still light enough to mow and fits in almost a subcompact footprint. It weighs just over 1800 pounds. With the loader and bucket, it makes it to about 2500 pounds. The CK2610 is well over 3000 pounds with loader. TYM has a wide range of tractors fitting just about everyone.
How does this compare to your LS models? I know you haven't had the same amount of seat time on it, so it may take a few more projects before you can give a comparison. I will be interested to see how it compares to the old tractors. In addition, I think you all need to do a video with Hank and you comparing the two different red tractors. Although, Hank's wife must love him a little more since she has him in a cab. 😊🤣
The Cab!!! I can feel the AC blowing! The only tractor LS has that is in this footprint is the XJ2025. I am not a fan of it. They got the gears wrong IMO. it is to slow in low and to weak in high.TYM got this right. I can tell that already. With more seat time, I will see. TYM is sending me a T474 to demo. That will be fun!

LS tractor is struggling in a few areas and therefore I cannot recommend them on my channel anymore. Some of their tractors are really good and some of them are having problems. They have lost money as a corporation the last couple of years which concerns me as well.
Great walk around. Wanna be friends 😂
Sure Hank!😂😂😂😂😂😂
You boys are very funny ( Great team spirit ! ) 😂🤣👍
Lol
I want to see this bad boy at work
I have many videos out with it working.
@@TonysTractorAdventure yeah I found them after I commented. You’re making me want to go out and get a TYM now lol. I really like it
Tony, how does this TYM compare to the Kioti Ck2610?
@@TonysTractorAdventure look forward to the review of the T474
Très bon tracteur c’est mon 2ème une machine très fiable et très fiable la mécanique.
