Yes, the LE eyeliners were not what I expected. And I thought the Victoria Beckham ones were soft and a little difficult to use! These are even softer and can be quite messy and I was glad I had a Q-tip at hand! But the packaging is very classy!

Regarding the LE eyeliners, you are unfortunately right. I have the green one and the first time that I wore it, I was so overwhelmed by its softness, that I applied it with a little brush, not directly on my eyes, and it lasted. But the second time, I thought that I would manage to go directly on my eyes, I did but the longevity was a catastrophe! So I think that it lasts only if we put just a little of it. Otherwise, I love the green color, very elegant, but it’s too expensive for a very complicated product. I am very sad about that because I love Lisa Eldridge and her videos.

I actually have new formula cream foundation and I love it. I do have combination skin and not dry so maybe that’s why. Don’t even need primer with it. Also, waiting for BF sale to get some haus labs stuff :)
hi Sofia, thank you for your review. I bought the new foundation (despite your review ;) and this is my very first product from suqqu. I'm 55 with slightly dry skin. I guess, I was expecting this foundation to be a miracle in a jar but here is how i feel after using it for about 2 weeks. as you said, It does not glide easily. It looks much nicer after an hour or so on my face rather than just when applied. If I use it under my eyes - my skin looks like an "elephant skin" meaning i see all my wrinkles as in the magnifying glass. having said that - when mixed with thinner foundation ( such as Tom Ford Illuminate foundation, which i bought in a too-dark shade) the effect is very pleasing. I guess, I will still try a liquid foundation from suqqu but not necessarily in wintertime. again, thank you for your review. I appreciate it a lot!
Hi Sofia! I have the Lisa Eldridge liner in Gold and I love it and I am planning to order the Coffee too. How they stay put may have something to do with the weather/where you live. I live up north, like really up north, no sunshine anymore for this year. So air is dryer and my skin is dryer. Liner stays put for 16 hours, no smudge, no fading. Creamyness and softness are only good qualities, when applying liner for mature, soon 50, eyes.
I like the new Suqqu foundation and I agree I noticed a difference between the two. That being said…I am dry, mature and I love the Dior primer under it. I also got the new powder that came out at the same time. It is the lightest powder I have ever seen. I was glad Suqqu added some new shades and I got the 205. I typically wear 105 and will probably go back to that. Allfeisty did a review on the LE pencils a while back and it was a hot mess. Thanks for the video as I was looking forward to your thoughts on the new foundation.

I better love that Haus Labs concealer after all the hell I went through to get it! 🥵 I was able to get 11 and it should here next week. I also got the RB Faith liquid blush! Fun video! The Dior Quint is beautiful. Beautiful peachy warm toned. I don’t like the LE liners either. Too creamy and smeary. I was hoping they would be closer to the Victoria Beckham which I love. I only got the Renaissance Gold to try and do really like the taupey gold shade. I’m glad I only bought one to try. I didn’t like the Haus Labs concealer at all. Great coverage but looked so dry and cakey and heavy on my under eyes. Most people seem to like it but it was too heavy for me. I actually returned it because I just couldn’t get it to work for me.

Hi Sofia! Regarding the Lisa eyeliners- I’ve discovered that any eyeliner where the first ingredient is specifically Dimethicone it will burn my eyes and smear on my contact lenses. Derivatives such as Isododecane etc tend to be fine but sooo many eyeliners have done this to me- Urban Decay, Pixi, Maybelline Smoky liner, Milani eyeliners. Hope that helps someone!! It took me forever to make the correlation 😂
Whatś going on with all the reformulations? I used Estee Lauder Country Mist foundation from the time I was in HS to the date it got discontinued. Years and years using the same foundation. Now it seems that every year the best and most beloved products get reformulated. And the worst is that the reformulation is never as good as the original. So frustrating!

Ive had the old Suqqu foundation for a while and never really wore it...yesterday for some.reason i decided to try it on....im.more of a combo skin type and live in a very hot and humid climate...on its own it is a bit too dewy for me but add a touch of powder.....i was looking at my skin all day!!!!!

Great question Janet! I would recommend the Cle de Peau for you. I love the Suqqu but the Cle de Peau is definitely a little more user friendly with the tube, easier to buy internationally, and very mature skin friendly. My mom uses it too and she is 62 :)

I bought two LE eyeliners and I was not impressed. You can't make a nice line with the eyeliner; it just goes everywhere because it's so soft. I just line my upper lid and blend them out.
I also bought 3 of the LE liners, and I too have regret. I got the neutral brown, and the tone is outstanding, but yeah, it fades away pretty quick and can travel. I wonder if that dior is similar to ysl spontini lilies? I have 3 in the new formula. Some of the shades are so corn starchy, it’s off putting on my fingers or lids. And yeah, then others are ok. And we re left with a whole palette that’s “fine.” I think I’m just going to Pause from their eyeshadows.
I had to stop this video when you got the LE eye liners. I have one and hate it. I have 5 or 6 of the VBB, and those are pure gold. Easy to work with, lovely staying power, and I want all of them. VBB has my favorite eye liners. I've stopped buying other ones. Okay, back to the video! 💖

As an old Creme de la Mer user, I recall that they used to sell it with an explanation of the application "ritual". Take a pea sized scoop of the creme and warm it up between your fingers until it softens and gets more lotion-like. Then it applies like a dream. I also have the Soft Cream for when I'm lazy. But for severe chapping and drying, The Original is the best. In the reviews, I've heard that even using the Lisa Eldridge liners as shadows, they still fade. Just not a great product. I know I feel like sometimes when my face is too wet or dry, I still have trouble spreading it lol! Going in with a serum first always gets it just right ;)
I got the nude dress new formulation. I don’t like the powderiness but the color stay put all day and without gathering. I think I will keep it for that reason.
I love the new Suqqu foundation, but I love the original formula more, just bc it is more emollient and easier to apply. The new one dries down more on me bc of the added powders, but I still like it. It is less oily on me, if that makes sense, but the older formula looks prettier on my face even if it isn't as long wearing. I also did not like the Lisa Eldridge liners. They were so disappointing. They were so oily and slick on my already oily eyes they went everywhere. Oh well, I guess every product can't be a winner!
The newest suqqu foundation was reformulated into the eldest one, which is not the former one in the video. The first two editions were popular in Asia for its formulation oil-skin friendly. The dry-skin friendly edition which is "original" in your video was not so popular as the former editions, so suqqu re-formulated it to the present one.

This palette is a little more on the brown/orange side and Spontini lilies is a little more pink
