Can't get any closer to God listening to this incredible musician. Goes to show you don't have to shred to pull at your heart like he does. Thank you Larry. Saw you at Humphries by the bay in 1982. Never forget it.

I knew Larry's music since the early 80s.
and I had the great chance to see Larry for the first time in 1998, in Paris in a Jazz club ( with Chris Kent RIP, )
at this concert Larry had played this title, I was in front of him, it was impressive, and for me, this song in Paris was better, and I remenber I told to myself that I would always go to see him in concert.

Wow! I've been an LC fan since the early 80s, but this performance has to be one of, if not the the best one of his I've ever heard. A true master class of style, tone, control... you name it! LC may be known as Mr. 335, but he makes that Les Paul sing like no other! I'm blown away!

You don't know the half of it. LC is also a well trained jazz guitarist. He can show you chords that you didn't think were possible to make, and he can play bebop jazz just like the rest of the greats. I've seen him sit and play Barney Kessel, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, George Benson, Wes Montgomery. That guy is a guitar genius.

Carlton is so humble. He can also play the most difficult jazz music.

LC's playing from around 5:10-5:38...dynamic, melodic, and moving. Oh yeah, and Tone City...#respect.
