this figure is great but i have two little gripes: 1. I personally don't like the head 2. The veins are a little to dark and its a little distracting imo the two pack one blows this out of the water
I plan on getting the 2-pack classic hulk, tracking down the toybiz grey hulk, and then repainting the head/swap to look like the modern Immortal Hulk.
I remember the days when you would be waiting at cons to get your hands on these kinda exclusives. Now your just being sent them with a big cheeky smile on your face reviewing them. Still my go to channel for reviews keeep up the great work robo! 70,000 portions!
I like the 2 pack version personally, it has them classic look to it, like Sal Buscema drawing much like Face off. But this is cool too, looks more like a modern Hulk.
I’ve enjoyed your reviews for quite some time and in feel we’re very similar in tastes. I have this figure (along with the other two ML green Hulks) and feel like it’s become a “red-headed stepchild” of the buck. I think it’s a fantastic rendering of a more modernized Hulk, and with the paint apps it really stands up to the ML 80th, with the lack of interchangeable hands being its only significant downfall. Some don’t care for the paint around the eyes, but always looked great to me on the shelf. While I LOVE the ML 80th two-pack Hulk, it has a bit of an “unfinished look” because of the lack of detail on the pants. The ripped shirt does compensate for this but man, shading on the pants could have gone a LONG way.
It would have been even cooler if we would have gotten a grey Hulk as the SDCC exclusive instead of this darker green Hulk. Still like the figure, and I’m probably gonna get it anyway lol 😂

I got the two pack Hulk and plan on trying to get this one but if I don't I'm not losing any sleep. The two pack Hulk is a perfect representation of Hulk IMO.
Just cut the sides and bottom of the bubble with a knife and you can always put the the figure back on the card for hanging. I do this to save the card without ripping it, if it has nice art
It’s a cool figure, Robo, I wish I could get one, I’m waiting on the Hulk/Wolverine two pack. I know will probably release a variant of this figure in the future because they have with other SDCC figures and because they are Marvel and you can never have too many Hulk/Marvel figures. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed, have a good time in San Diego.
Awww man! Take a razor cut a flap at the bottom of the blister you can then slide it in and out.... pause on that! And your gana like the two pack HULK cause you can crunch him forward and have him look up i have mine like that. And i ordered mine on amazon on sunday and it came monday, theres free one day shipping!

Yeah, the 2-pack Hulk is absolutely amazing (got mine from Gamestop, ordered it one night, got it the next day, crazy!), but I just am not feeling this one. That head leaves me cold, and I think I like the lighter, brighter green on the 2-pack figure too.
Looks like a kids toy in design, color and finish. Might be nice to have a carded Hulk for collectors but otherwise, this figure does not hold a candle to the two-pack Hulk version.
I'll echo other comments that I like the color and head sculpt of the two-pack Hulk better. I'm also not a fan of the lack of forward moving butterfly joint and the non-existent head back movement.

Its weird I really feel like the pictures Hasbro put out of this guy made him look more gamma green and the 2 pack was more deeper green. Weird. Not a huge fan of the black around his eyes, I might remove that if I get one. Really need to see some side by side pictures of the two. I like all the extra paint apps and the head on the SDCC but I prefer my Hulk in that kinda brighter gamma green.

The two pack Hulk is more like an 80s styled face while this one is mostly a 90s type flashback to him.
The Select Hulk Unleashed has been my "Legends" hulk for years. This one may dethrone it. Probably going for the 80 years version though.
