Baba does not know, the killing was first started by Muslims in the Rawalpindi area. More than 5000 Sikhs were killed in March 1947. Sikhs then retaliated in East Punjabi. Sikhs and Hindus in Pakistan never wanted to leave their homes but were forced out to create space for Muslims coming from India.
Baba is uneducated, so wouldn't really have an idea other than word of mouth stories, or what happened to him. Obviously, he would blame the other. He is from somewhere between Jalalabad and Fazilka, of the old Ferozepur Distt. It has since been split further into Faridkot (1972), and then even further into Muktsar, Moga districts. (1992).Coming back to the Partition, in March of 1947,killings started in Choa Khalsa, Dhamali, etc in Rawalpindi district, and also in Multan. (Source: Prof Ishtiaq Ahmed, Pakistani origin Political Scientist currently residing in Sweden). Prior to that, on Direct Action Day, 16th August, 1946,the Muslim League incited violence in Kolkata. Later on, word and bodies reached India, and retaliatory violence started. The rest everyone knows..

muslims pro british unionists who were then became muslim league and decided to capture every thing from fleeing hindus and sikhs as they were well off and it started in jhang ,lahore, swabi,sheikhupura and rawal pindi. Then the nanga nach started on both sides a sad truth of punjabi history.

You are absolutely correct. Although the genocide of Sikhs in Rawalpindi in March 1947 is infamous, the killing of Skihs and Hindus actually started in December 1946 in the district of Campbellpur/Hazara. Hundreds of Sikhs and Hindus were killed, and thousands were driven out to Rawalpindi and Jhelum areas.
I have watched hundreds and hundreds of videos of Muslims who left east Punjab, and they all said something that they were living peacefully, and then all of a sudden, they were attacked in and around the Eid festival in August. This clearly proves that Muslims started the violence, and the Sikhs ended it.

If Sikh and Muslims are such good brothers then why Sikhs are reduced to minorities in Pakistan punjab. Sikh surname with first Muslim name. Now in India new breed has evolved Sikhs going to church. These videos are nothing but like mitti goli dena , reality is something else. Jo log Apney purkho/ ancestor ki izzat nahi kartey woh kabhi agay nahi badte.
