That's not how it works. lol I also work with Vector and I love it. Sales isn't for everyone but it's a legit opportunity with a lot of room for growth.
you only earn a scholarship depending on sales. And she'll probably make way more than the scholarship is. Is a legit company, but a lot of people aren't meant for this type of job
you guys know this isn't a scam I have been here for over a year. and why did the founder of uber sell cutco, why have best selling authors sold it, why has the youngest vice president in mlb history sell it. it's not a scam in the least. I make consistent 1,000+ pay checks the ones that say its a scam are the one who are to lazy and can't do the job and are just overall content with someone telling you that your all worth minimum wage.
The owner of uber sold it because he's smart and washed his hands of it because Vector got SUED for not paying their independent contractors.. As an actual salesperson and not some random person with a high school diploma and no real experience in the marketing field, ANY company that requires you to BUY the product and isn't upfront about their hiring process, payment system, job descriptions from the START is a shady company that is aiming to deceive you rather than improve your skills or nurture you as an employee. And by the way, at Vector, you aren't employees, you're "independent contractors" who are forced to work by their rules (which isn't what 1099 contractors usually do) and do direct sales. There's a reason why they looking for desperate, naive struggling college kids and high school children and not seasoned, educated professionals in the field. .. It's not about laziness. It's about being smart enough to know your worth and accept a better job offer (with paid training and benefits).
So quick question about vector: since they pay $18 per appointment regardless of whether or not you make the sale, could you in theory schedule a large number of "mock" appointments with people in my dorms, with no intent to actually sell them the knives, just to rack up that base rate?
FrankieStrings I mean, pretty much half of their entire presentation is them explaining that you get paid a base rate if you don't get enough successful sales to surpass it, and no way they'd still be able to be getting away with that after all the legal trouble they've already faced so I'm led to believe it MUST be true in _some_ form...
In theory. In reality you'll be looking for specific type of clients, talking to your manager about them, and if you bring no sales your kit can be taken away.
Cameron Schiff They don't lie about it. Although if you take it seriously you probably won't even need it. But they're gonna be coaching you and having you call during the demo . If you have no sales they'll have you focus on phoning to ensure you set appointments then give you the kit back for you to do those appointments. If you're going through the training I recommend you do it 4 real. At the end you could get away with it but it wouldn't be long til they figure there's something fishy. they've been in business since 1o49 do they have dealt with that b4.
Kunal Lobo LOL. people are just afraid of everything that's different. I joined two weeks ago and love it. where else can people with no experience make 60 bucks in an hour.
Thank you for making a truthful video. I appreciate you! So many people try to talk negatively about Vector when they haven't worked for them.....which doesn't make sense. Not only do they not gain anything from bashing the company but they try to scare other people out of working since they couldn't be successful themselves. Nice to see someone else kicking butt with Cutco!
You're super pretty... Cutco knives can turn an ordinary looking kitchen into a sparkly 😉 5-star restaurant quality kitchen and make slicing, chopping, meal prepping over-exhilirating! Really great to hear about your experience. It is fantastic sales experience for anyone out there reading this 👍
Sounds like she's hitting us with a pitch right now.
Her face and the way she speaks reminds me of Dory from Finding Nemo.
Wait til you see my vector upload tomorrow. I had a different experience
So you're only saying nice things about the company to get a scholarship?
That's not how it works. lol I also work with Vector and I love it. Sales isn't for everyone but it's a legit opportunity with a lot of room for growth.

poeter14 this has been the only comment that actually knows about the company, and not being ignorant 😂
Carlos Valencia I'm just saying it like it is

"I make consistent 1,000+ pay checks". So you make over $52,000 a year take home selling knives?
Sure you do.
The job is literally so easy. I have learned more working for vector then I learned in college in all of my business classes.
I didn't even mention how easy or hard the job would be.. Where did that even come from?
Normally when someone thinks this is a scam it's because they think the job is to hard to actually do. that's where that came from

poeter14 gotcha - so they just flat out lie about the whole base rate thing? Won't pay it if they smell something fishy?
