They are awesome. I've had them to the range once so far. They shoot fantastic. The grips are great. I like the trigger much better than the Tanfoglio.
I think it's a bit of both actually. Johnny Lim did a great job on the triggers on these 2. Both under 2.5 lbs. both break very crisp. And the slide vs pivot I think is working better for me already. Been doing some dry fire and the gun just comes up bang on. Grip is very positive.
Yes for sure. Johnny and Julian Lim were great guys, easy to deal with and the guns work fantastic. 2 things to note: These guns are no longer IPSC legal due to the change in definition of "compensator" and I am actually getting the top ends changed by Limcat. They are not doing it for free (of course) but they are doing it for a discounted price. Great service from them. Personal feel of the trigger wasn't ideal for my shooting style. I bought some SVI internals and reshaped the sears to how I wanted the triggers to feel. There was nothing technically wrong with the guns when I received them, just not to my exact liking. HTH
Ron Cameleon I imported them. Purchased directly from Limcat and used an importer to get them here. Not that difficult. I bought them in 2012 and received them in 2013. Cost with 6 tuned mags was just over $10k CAD. That was with exchange, shipping, duty, fees, etc. because of the exchange right now, likely you would be close to $14k CAD
Not sure I would say more accurate .. definitely the Limcat handles nicer and in general shoots better. I've got a good load which is quite soft and I can recover the sights quicker than I ever could with the Tanfo .. now that I've gone to the 2011 platform I highly doubt I would go back to Tanfo

Cool! So are the triggers on the Limcats more crisp or is it the fact that they slide instead of pivot?
Hi Steve, I see you got your Limcat pistols and they look fantastic. So when you shoot them let me know how they compare to your tanfoglios.
Would you still make this purchase was looking to get a 2011 built I just got a sti 2011 frame in California trying to decide where to send it.

Are you faster and more accurate with the Limcat versus the Tanfoglio?

Addicted To Life going with the HBAR .. I like the heavier barrel and with the oversized tungsten sleeve, I think it will be a good match for me
