I think Ari is the type of person with a wild card spirit. Unfortunately, he grew up in a community that largely isolated themselves from the rest of society, so when he grew up and joined the outside world, he didn’t really fit. I don’t think he’s a bad person, he’s just broken

I've taken acid, molly and other substances with my close group of friends literally hundreds of times from our teenage years up to our 30's. The idea of dosing one of them or getting dosed by them seems so dark to me. Psychedelics make you so vulnerable and are so intense. It could be world shattering and seriously traumatize you, or cause an unexpected situation that could get out of hand. It is exactly the opposite of what we want which is to make each other feel safe and relaxed. Something is off with Ari. The history of psychedelics contains some pretty dark chapters of people dosing and torturing peoples minds with psychedelics...I hope Ari isn't captivated by that most dark way of thinking... It would be an extremely sad and urgent situation.

My mom has schizophrenia from unknowingly consuming a dosed drink from a party. That was 30 years ago. She’s still in the same state. That shit not nothing to joke around with. Studies have shown that hallucinogens can trigger the onset of mental diseases like schizophrenia, but that the shizophrenia would almost certainly have presented in that person eventually. So it can't CAUSE someone to be schizophrenic. It CAN severely traumatize someone with mental health problems, and that trauma needs to be worked on in therapy or it can stick for the rest of your life.

I haven't felt this way about a lot of people.. but from the first time I saw videos of Ari, I could just already tell that there was something dark inside of him. I have never felt anything good coming from him, and of course I don't personally know him, but I have always gotten this eerie feeling any time I see him. let me know if anyone else has experienced this.
Same. I listen to podcasts, comedians on Spotify TH-cam or Pandora, etc while working a lot and I could never listen to anything Ari. I realized I would get an odd feeling when watching episodes of this is not happening and it would switch between him and Roy Woods Jr as the host. I would always get a really odd feeling in my stomach when I see Ari. Fast forward to now and I am/am not surprised
Also, I never saw his perspective of stuff as funny, and that’s saying something considering the very mixed group of comedians that he is in the circle with. Not just Tom, Bert, Bobby, Joey or Joe. When you look up how many comedians he knows, friends or dated (makes me want to look into those relationships too), I never thought he was humorous or funny in the least. I felt like a lot of it was vindictive, revengeful for small reasons and childish because I would always think an adult just doesn’t do that, a child or maybe teenager does though

I've taken acid, molly and other substances with my close group of friends literally hundreds of times from our teenage years up to our 30's. The idea of dosing one of them or getting dosed by them seems so dark to me. Psychedelics make you so vulnerable and are so intense. It could be world shattering and seriously traumatize you, or cause an unexpected situation that could get out of hand. It is exactly the opposite of what we want which is to make each other feel safe and relaxed. Something is off with Ari. The history of psychedelics contains some pretty dark chapters of people dosing and torturing peoples minds with psychedelics...I hope Ari isn't captivated by that most dark way of thinking... It would be an extremely sad and urgent situation.

I had a friend who at 22 was given LSD without her knowledge, unfortunately she had no prior experience with drugs. And she had a complete mental breakdown. At least Bert is an adult who has done drugs before and knows how to deal with them. Because the consequences might have been much worse...considering he was having panic attacks.

Studies have shown that hallucinogens can trigger the onset of mental diseases like schizophrenia, but that the shizophrenia would almost certainly have presented in that person eventually. So it can't CAUSE someone to be schizophrenic. It CAN severely traumatize someone with mental health problems, and that trauma needs to be worked on in therapy or it can stick for the rest of your life.
Or maybe it is the schizophrenia that is making her think she was drugged.
