More wisdom ,Sir. The only challenge in Nigeria is the high rate of kidnapping and other crimes . A lot of Nigerians in diaspora are not thinking about investing in Nigeria anymore. They rather buy their houses overseas , and get buried there when they finally die at their old ages. This is the reality . It is so sad that once everyone in your village knows that you live overseas , you are likely going to be a target any time you travel home. I have some friends that when they want to go to Nigeria, they only stay in Lagos and invite a few of their loved ones to come and see them in Lagos instead of traveling to their hometowns.

Sad. A lot of them are not security conscious. When they come home they are usually too loud and visible. If they are a little bit more discreet about their coming and going they will be safer.
After all there are many rich Nigerians who have not been Kidnapped in Nigeria.
Don't try to impress people that you came from overseas. Dress down, speak igbo ,Urhobo etc with pidgin , blend with the people.
They must not go to their rural communities to invest.
So many cities in the US like Baltimore and Gary are more dangerous than Nigerian cities.
