    Really excellent video.
When I insert the column into my structural design it does not adjust the height when I change the floor levels. How do is fix this so that it automatically attaches to the levels I want it to attach to?

    Excellent video.
How to I get the column height to automatically attach to a change in levels of my floor?

You have to add a parameter to height change in the family first

You need to align (and lock) the top of your column to the Upper/Lower Level in your family.

Thanks for your video. However when i tried mirroring the base,it gives me a weird yellow outline that i cannot work with. Why am i not getting the mirror like you did?

May be you have constraints to the base try copying and then mirror
