This is my last capture of Diesel hauled Njp Shatabdi Express ...howrah to njp full route is electrified ...so trains like shatabdi njp ac are in transition..
From tomorrow njp shatabdi will get e loco so the tag of fastest diesel hauled shatabdi will B no more..
So enjoy this diesel parallel run for the last time..probably..

As railfans we should make the railways understand how interesting was this diesel behemoth hauling the NJP Shatabi. Once a week it can be on diesels when SGUJ has it's own electric locos.

Yes sad diesels are getting phased out. Sure will miss the bass trumpet of the diesels. Will have to get used to the high pitched trumpets of the electrics.
