I am really impressed with the MCI conversion, It looks very modern and up to date for and older conversion. That was his first one and it came out so nice. The outside is very cool and once inside just wow. Thanks Andrew for this and all your great content here.
Now that floorplan with the bath is the middle is REALLY nice. That bath give you separate space from the front and the bedroom has that nice wall with the TV. I'd like to see a floorplan like that in a newer coach. I like that a lot better than the straight through floor plans. Crazy how he keeps it running all year with heat and AC.
Very different, but cool! Those kitchen cabinets remind me of newer Winnebago models, the Horizon specifically. This is such a different floor plan - so unique. Thanks for showing us this! - MJ
Andrew love that you’re featuring conversions. With the price of RVs most of us won’t be able to afford, this gives us hope. I hope to buy a transport bus/party bus and convert it some day. Thanks!
Great conversion mci's are built like tanks and have tons of life in them and that motor tuned right puts out 450 horse power silver is turbo charged and one of the best for a 2 cycle engine.
That's a very nice conversion, I like the center bath install, no slidouts and still looks roomy. Another great vid Andrew and as always stay safe and give Sadie some love for me
Nicely done.....amazing when you use the right design and colors....it can be timeless. From what I've heard the Silver 8V92 was the last in the series and was basically a "new and improved" version of the old 8V92. Can't tell you what was changed, but seem to think it had a bigger turbo on the silver. Some old school truckers will say nothing was....along with "you either got a good one or a bad one" lol
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele When your back in the midwest, you should shoot a segment of your video with Dick and Dee Cahill of StarJet Painting in Columbus, OH www.starjetbuspainting.com/ . They do great work, affordable rates and most of all, you'll be satisfied with their work. I had my coach painted by them, around the same time as Nick. The paint has held up very well, just as Nick's has. Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
Really Nice Coach.... Can't believe I owned a Converted MC 7 and a Bluebird Wanderlodge up here in Smithville and then Mays Landing, and never heard of you guys... Looks like you do nice work... Luke over at US Coach did all my work..
Awesome tour Andrew! I think it would be cool if you did a series on some celebrity buses. John Daly lives in his bus in front of his house, he loves his bus. I bet he would let you do a video.
We spend our summers (and most of spring and fall) at our destination trailer in a campground in Cape May Courthouse! My dream is to convert a bus into a motorhome, but I understand that I will need experts for certain things that I have no knowledge about - electric, solar, plumbing, satellite and WiFi, etc.). I would LOVE to see more of Nick’s conversions and to pick his brain about some things I’d like to understand in more detail. I know he is a busy guy, but maybe if I buy him lunch we can sit down and chat for awhile. I’m usually down on weekends in the spring and fall and a couple weeks here and there and some extended weekends during the summer. I’d love to chat with you Nick!!!
I love the colour scheme. I predominantly like black, grey, white with some accent colours. I prefer chrome/stainless over gold/brass. I even wear mostly neutral colours myself predominantly black, dark blue and dark grey shirts. The interior of my future build will have a similar colour scheme to this as I like office colours.
Hello Andrew you still in New Jersey? So cool...Have a wonderful day stay safe and stay healthy Andrew... W😊W I just noticed something that I have to On my Silver Eagle next to the letters 👍 Me to...
Hopefully you read this Andrew! My history is I started in the Bus industry 1996 driving school buses started driving very old motorcoach MCI’s from the early 80s and drove brand new late 90s early 2000 MCI’s. Let me give you some helpful information. Grayhound was one of the biggest purchasers of MCI buses. And Grayhound was known to put about 2,000,000 miles on the body of a bus before they sold them and there were many small companies buying up all the MCI‘s that were originally Grayhound buses. So if that speedometer reads 300 and something thousand miles it’s probably got over 1,000,000 miles on the body and that speedometer is probably turned over at least once. Because even if it was owned by Charter bus company they may have bought it used with already high miles and there would be no reason to rebuild an engine without lower miles. Hopefully this is information that will be helpful
I would think that a with a family that did lots of conversations and the owner in the business, he could wait for and cherry pick a really nice bus to start with.
Andrew love your vids just bought 2005 country coach limited edition Nairobi 4 of 15 the mattress that came with it needs to be replaced but has 12 inch radius corners . I would like to know what the big rv companys are using for there mattress. need help with this im hoping you can show some of them an talk about it.
Unlikely. This is top notch professional work, and at a level that a lot of so-called pro shops are unable to do. This one is nicer than a lot of factory conversions.
Really nice! It's amazing how 16 or 17 years later the colors are the "new" thing today! He did a great job on that bus. Thanks for the video!
I love seeing these type busses. I enjoy looking at million dollar coaches but a working man's bus is really pleasing.
This is not really a working mans coach, there is some real money and professional work in that. Not like the last MCI.
Very nice conversion, you can tell this guy is proud of his work! And he should be.
The American mind keeps on ticking! Good looking BUS! Thanks Andrew for the tour !

Absolutely beautiful bus. It is timeless and classic.

Had some work done at Nick's shop in 2018 and got to tour this amazing bus at the time. Top notch work and Nick is a real gentleman to deal with also.

Very cool conversion
Those front walls and roof curve are very 90s newell esque. That’s pretty neat.
Thanks Mitchell.
seems like a really nice person // thanks Andrew
Love it and a bath in middle for separate users...so a friend has front and you have bedroom and all the get ups bother minimally.
Best layout I've seen 👌

Nice conversion. It’s pretty sharp.
Thanks Andrew! You did a nice job on the video! Keep them coming.
Thank for sharing some great wisdom Nick! I enjoyed hanging around your shop. Hope to cross paths again soon!

I know I'm late but amazing floor plan and I love the S&C By the door. Glad to see a fellow Travelling Man!
Sir, another cool video...nice coach... peace💜🤴
Great attention to detail.
That side aisle build was popular on 01 05 Eagle era conversions. Country artist had coaches built like that some.
Thank you Mr. Steele.
Beautiful job
Really nice bus and interview.
I've lived in brigantine all my life and didn't know all this was around!
Absolutely beautiful.
curious what the price for a coach like this might be.... under 400k miles......thing is barely broke in. In amazing shape. Great video.
Proper job.
Clearly top level pro work. Really impressive.
You'd be surprised how many nice old coaches are out there! See Facebook bus conversions!! You just might be able to buy one CHEAP!
Love that exterior paint; he did a great job. Well designed and executed.
Great job

Yes, I've done several videos where I gave him a shout-out
He is very knowledgeable about the charging/generating systems on the complicated Coaches! Thanks Andrew!
