I think Shmee has always been like that. He'd go to events and never really acknowledge other TH-camrs who were at the same event if they were not specifically collaborating. Stuff like Goodwood, where STG or JWW would do a VLOG and they're say hi to other YTers, but you'd see Shmee's vid and it was like he was there in isolation. There was also a recent event where JWW was there with Koenigsegg of London and Shmee's vid ignores those cars (and JWW of course).

Mr JWW spoke about the situation between DDE and Shmee which could well be why Shmee is ignoring Mr JWW! Mr JWW wasn't sure why Shmee didn't put the DDE decal on his car, he said that Shmee would or should have known that DDE was a part of supporting/sponsoring The Gumball before he decided not to use the DDE decal. Shmee did say in a previous video that he doesn't show cars of people he doesn't like, and that he supposedly learned that trick from DDE, so he says. He only showed a DDE car that was at a garage when he was visiting the U.S. because of the backlash from the fans.

It was bad enough that he didn't wear the Merch and removed the DDE official sponsor decal, but then used Max Coopers brand 'Gumball' to advertise his own channel for free by replacing the DDE logo with his own, he is a business owner so he must have known that wasn't gonna fly. I would say Max is equally if not more annoyed by this, although Shmee did keep his XJ220 in storage for him, maybe that was a piece offering!

Sadly, very few "friendships" between cartubers come across as genuine. Very transactional at best, but the way Shmee comes across, it's extremely obvious that it's more of how can he benefit vs a legitimate and genuine friendship not based solely on benefiting. I may be wrong, but the vast majority of his interactions on screen all come across that way. Perhaps, this is why his channel has been surpassed by others. I still respect his work ethic but he was definitely in the wrong for not fitting the DDE logo's during Gumball. If he truly had confidence in his brand, he would not have cared.

To me I definitely think it's got something to do with how close friends Damon and Dave have become with Mr jww and Maximilian. shmee used to be friends with Max and would store maxs cars for him before rallies and things like that. now you do not see that at all and I really think it has something to do with the fact that they're now partners with daily driven Exotics. I guarantee shmee tried for years to get some sort of sponsorship deal with Gumball and never could put one together and feels some type of way about daily driven Exotics getting it that's just my thought

Shmee drives in a hyper car rally follows all the traffic laws and doesn’t even try to use the performance part of the car. All we got was one lame ass “drag race” and a secret broken car. Meanwhile, DDE is FULL sending it on sketchy public roads making that SVJ sing to the people of South East Asia.

I think Shmee didn’t like being cornered the way he was by DDE (maybe could have been dealt with behind closed doors) that said they have a different audience base, DDE has just hit 4 million subscribers, is now a main part of Gumball. Shmee had been a main attraction as he has been one of the original automotive car channels, but has had his nose put out of joint as DDE have done 4 rally’s and are a partner and are growing continuously, whereas Shmee has slowed down. I personally don’t think Shmee will be on another Gumball. He’s always made it about Shmee and not Gumball. Whilst he was a main attraction it was accepted, no other TH-camr on that rally cared about having DDE on their cars. It was only Shmee. In Shmee’s defence he is very protective of his brand and won’t put another TH-camr on his cars. It’s Shmees prerogative, is he going to lose out by not going on Gumball unlikely. Does DDE benefit from being on Gumball definitely. Only time will tell, but the only way Shmee will get on Gumball will be to have DDE’s name on his car. Shmee is astute though and could try and partner as well that way having his branding on the car also. Whether Gumball would agree is a different matter only time will tell. However if he releases a video revealing stuff that shouldn’t be said that will be the end of any relationships going forward

Ive always thought shmee was not a good person to anyone but himself. The only thing I dont like about DDE, is how they see any criticism as "haters", even if it is clearly constructive. Other than that, I dont care about the clickbait thumbnails or titles. I just wish they were willing to take constructive criticism to improve themselves. imho, might be the reason for all these beef between them is that Shm** sees DDE as somewhat his competitor/rival in all aspect(Not just DDE, but also with all other youtuber in the car community) regardless of what category of their channel is all about. I do get him why he do all these reactions, Coz building a channel and growing to millions of subs is hard as hell and to be where he now at and with all of his collections. It might be that in his mind, he grew his channel exerting all efforts doing it by himself slowly and with less help/collaboration. Putting DDE stickers on his cars and wearing sponsored DDE logo on Gumball merch is like a free advertising to his subscriber and boosting DDE whilst none for him, but really it should be him to do the sponsor thing in the 1st place since he was on Gumball way before DDE or he really just contented with what he have and not care enough to boost his subs anymore and just wants to enjoy Gumball rally and doing content for his channel. But in this issue, not wearing Gumball merch, didn't put DDE stickers and wearing your own merch are a clear sign of disrespect to Max and Gumball Organization. Shm** is in the wrong, he should own it, apologize and move on.

I'm surprised my comment got a response from shmee in the first place, and in the end it wasn't a real response. It's the 25th anniversary of gumball and there's no way supercar owners circle is a preferable rally. He keeps saying he has all the dirt, but refuses to release it. Sup Lucci 👊😎 There was a shift in attitude with Shmee once DDE started filming outside the Continental US. I feel he got the $hits when DDE drew the attention away from him on the rally. It's a shame because their content covers different niche markets, DDE is lifestyle and high energy while Shmee does indepth reviews.

I honestly don't think shmee is dumb enough to potentially risk his audience over some sponsorship stickers. He literally sacrificed 15 years of his life towards TH-cam so it just wouldn't make sense for him to just foolishly remove stickers because of "competitive reasons" knowing very well he'd receive the craziest backlash that he's currently receiving. He himself collaborated and still collaborates with maaaany automotive TH-camrs, he even collaborated with DDE before when he had Damon do donuts in his Ford GT. What I'm trying to say here is that there's probably A LOOOOT more to this beef than just stickers and shmee wanting to look like the better automotive TH-camr. I just hope that one day the truth will be released then we can properly decide if shmee was and is a shmuck orrr is DDE not what we really think it is

You guys play into DDE BS way too much. Just look at the difference in cars between the two, shmee has at least twice the amount of cars that DDE does and half the subs? There is a reason for that and it’s because shmee is smart and has been in the game for years. DDE is doing exactly what shmee is saying they are BSing so many videos, everything is click bait they lease everything, it’s not what they say it is or try and claim it is by a long shot, is it entertaining? Yea at times. But now it seems they are more interested in drama than actual cars and shmee is about the cars.

Tim is smart, but he was rich before he started the channel. Which affords him connections and the collection he has amassed. Tim sold a company he started right out of school and worked in investment consulting. His parents were rich obviously, everything about him drips snobbery. It's why he connects so well in the hypercar world. Damon on the other hand wasn't a millionaire when he started so it's a steeper climb. Damon absolutely uses drama to his advantage for example, the "ReVVenge" plate as shade to Vehicle Virgins. It's more entertaining than listening to schmee recite the owners manual he memorized. They are very different channels but I have enjoyed both, Schmee just messed up and showed people a part of himself that we can't unsee atm. He could fix it, just has to admit it. 🤷♀

I think Shmee has always been like that. He'd go to events and never really acknowledge other TH-camrs who were at the same event if they were not specifically collaborating. Stuff like Goodwood, where STG or JWW would do a VLOG and they're say hi to other YTers, but you'd see Shmee's vid and it was like he was there in isolation. There was also a recent event where JWW was there with Koenigsegg of London and Shmee's vid ignores those cars (and JWW of course).

Mr JWW spoke about the situation between DDE and Shmee which could well be why Shmee is ignoring Mr JWW! Mr JWW wasn't sure why Shmee didn't put the DDE decal on his car, he said that Shmee would or should have known that DDE was a part of supporting/sponsoring The Gumball before he decided not to use the DDE decal. Shmee did say in a previous video that he doesn't show cars of people he doesn't like, and that he supposedly learned that trick from DDE, so he says. He only showed a DDE car that was at a garage when he was visiting the U.S. because of the backlash from the fans.

It was bad enough that he didn't wear the Merch and removed the DDE official sponsor decal, but then used Max Coopers brand 'Gumball' to advertise his own channel for free by replacing the DDE logo with his own, he is a business owner so he must have known that wasn't gonna fly. I would say Max is equally if not more annoyed by this, although Shmee did keep his XJ220 in storage for him, maybe that was a piece offering!

Sadly, very few "friendships" between cartubers come across as genuine. Very transactional at best, but the way Shmee comes across, it's extremely obvious that it's more of how can he benefit vs a legitimate and genuine friendship not based solely on benefiting. I may be wrong, but the vast majority of his interactions on screen all come across that way. Perhaps, this is why his channel has been surpassed by others. I still respect his work ethic but he was definitely in the wrong for not fitting the DDE logo's during Gumball. If he truly had confidence in his brand, he would not have cared.

I think Shmee didn’t like being cornered the way he was by DDE (maybe could have been dealt with behind closed doors) that said they have a different audience base, DDE has just hit 4 million subscribers, is now a main part of Gumball. Shmee had been a main attraction as he has been one of the original automotive car channels, but has had his nose put out of joint as DDE have done 4 rally’s and are a partner and are growing continuously, whereas Shmee has slowed down. I personally don’t think Shmee will be on another Gumball. He’s always made it about Shmee and not Gumball. Whilst he was a main attraction it was accepted, no other TH-camr on that rally cared about having DDE on their cars. It was only Shmee. In Shmee’s defence he is very protective of his brand and won’t put another TH-camr on his cars. It’s Shmees prerogative, is he going to lose out by not going on Gumball unlikely. Does DDE benefit from being on Gumball definitely. Only time will tell, but the only way Shmee will get on Gumball will be to have DDE’s name on his car. Shmee is astute though and could try and partner as well that way having his branding on the car also. Whether Gumball would agree is a different matter only time will tell. However if he releases a video revealing stuff that shouldn’t be said that will be the end of any relationships going forward

imho, might be the reason for all these beef between them is that Shm** sees DDE as somewhat his competitor/rival in all aspect(Not just DDE, but also with all other youtuber in the car community) regardless of what category of their channel is all about. I do get him why he do all these reactions, Coz building a channel and growing to millions of subs is hard as hell and to be where he now at and with all of his collections. It might be that in his mind, he grew his channel exerting all efforts doing it by himself slowly and with less help/collaboration. Putting DDE stickers on his cars and wearing sponsored DDE logo on Gumball merch is like a free advertising to his subscriber and boosting DDE whilst none for him, but really it should be him to do the sponsor thing in the 1st place since he was on Gumball way before DDE or he really just contented with what he have and not care enough to boost his subs anymore and just wants to enjoy Gumball rally and doing content for his channel. But in this issue, not wearing Gumball merch, didn't put DDE stickers and wearing your own merch are a clear sign of disrespect to Max and Gumball Organization. Shm** is in the wrong, he should own it, apologize and move on.

I'm surprised my comment got a response from shmee in the first place, and in the end it wasn't a real response. It's the 25th anniversary of gumball and there's no way supercar owners circle is a preferable rally. He keeps saying he has all the dirt, but refuses to release it. And he's obviously taking a big hit over this, his views are abysmal compared to his previous years.

It's a shame because their content covers different niche markets, DDE is lifestyle and high energy while Shmee does indepth reviews.

I honestly don't think shmee is dumb enough to potentially risk his audience over some sponsorship stickers. He literally sacrificed 15 years of his life towards TH-cam so it just wouldn't make sense for him to just foolishly remove stickers because of "competitive reasons" knowing very well he'd receive the craziest backlash that he's currently receiving. He himself collaborated and still collaborates with maaaany automotive TH-camrs, he even collaborated with DDE before when he had Damon do donuts in his Ford GT. What I'm trying to say here is that there's probably A LOOOOT more to this beef than just stickers and shmee wanting to look like the better automotive TH-camr. I just hope that one day the truth will be released then we can properly decide if shmee was and is a shmuck orrr is DDE not what we really think it is

You guys play into DDE BS way too much. Just look at the difference in cars between the two, shmee has at least twice the amount of cars that DDE does and half the subs? There is a reason for that and it’s because shmee is smart and has been in the game for years. DDE is doing exactly what shmee is saying they are BSing so many videos, everything is click bait they lease everything, it’s not what they say it is or try and claim it is by a long shot, is it entertaining? Yea at times. But now it seems they are more interested in drama than actual cars and shmee is about the cars.
That has nothing to do with the fact that Max from gumball had sponsors of those sponsors are supposed to be on the cars outside of respect of gumball the people that pay for the rally are the sponsors to make the rally happen and he didn't wear the gumball merch either so that's what we're discussing nothing else ✔️🔐
Tim is smart, but he was rich before he started the channel. Which affords him connections and the collection he has amassed. Tim sold a company he started right out of school and worked in investment consulting. His parents were rich obviously, everything about him drips snobbery. It's why he connects so well in the hypercar world. Damon on the other hand wasn't a millionaire when he started so it's a steeper climb. Damon absolutely uses drama to his advantage for example, the "ReVVenge" plate as shade to Vehicle Virgins. It's more entertaining than listening to schmee recite the owners manual he memorized. They are very different channels but I have enjoyed both, Schmee just messed up and showed people a part of himself that we can't unsee atm. He could fix it, just has to admit it. 🤷♀
