    Manuka Honey is honestly so amazing, I had the sweetest pet bunny ever and she was attacked by a raccoon (and survived) but her nose cavity was broken and grew a large cyst on her nose. Bunnies can't take a lot of antibiotics so the vets told us there wasn't much we could give her. So we coated her nose with Manuka honey everyday and she healed up perfectly 💖

    Hi Sarah!
    Sorry for commenting 3 times, but I just want to say, that you channel is probably one of my favorites on TH-cam.
    I remember, a while back, I watched a video of yours about healthy snack ideas, & my mother & I made our own kale chips (sorry if I spelled "kale" wrong) & now my face & entire body has been so lite, beautiful, & radiant.
    Your advice is really good for the entire body.
    Don't change anything about yourself! I love your videos, & I love *you.* ^^

    I used regular honey on my face one time and it literally reversed alot of aging that a bad moisturiser gave me overnight. Nonetheless, I am trying out an organic honey now to see if it has the same collagen like effects (this is 10 years later after the first honey healing) but I can see how good that Manuka honey looks. I've heard alot about it. I'll have to buy some. It even looks different - more of a raw texture to it.

    Some of these products are super expensive. After watching this video I have tried the Spirulina Honey Mask and it is great. After doing it once, my face was so much brighter. When I went to school the next day people said that my face was glowing and looked brighter. I have done this mask twice a week for 45 minutes each time. I don't recommend leaving it on for that long though. I have eczema, sensitive skin and dry skin so I was scared to try the mask but they are all natural products and did not irritate my skin at all. I mixed the Spirulina, Mannuka Honey and Rose Water. Thanks for this video!

    For everyone that wants a Vegan alternative, just leave the Honey out. Any liquid will keep them as a paste which will dry as a less sticky mask. You could also replace it with Aloe Vera gel. One of my favs! It dries just like a face mask and is so healing.

    I dont know how to make a youtube account (boo google) so I subscribed from my husbands ha! I first started watching back when you uploaded the rosemary hair rinse, and I've watched every video at least twice since. You are so inspiring, I've suffered for years with acne. I first broke out in third grade,yuck, and have dealt with it ever since. I took acutane, and wish I would have discovered you before. I dont know why I'm obsessed, but you are so nice, and seriously seem like the nicest, most calm, centered person I'd ever meet. And Making that draw your life video, im sure, made all of us love you that much more. I can understand if it was hard to make, but totally totally helped me in knowing there is always an way up, no matter how shot down you think you are.
    Now. To Wholefoods to get some Honey!

    No skin type should be using lemon juice. It's incredibly acidic and has 0 benefits for the skin. No dermatologist or esthetician would ever recommend it. Not trying to be a jerk. It's just this bad science idea that keeps popping up in DIY videos that's totally untrue.

    I just wanted to say that you really should not be using lemon juice on your skin! The pH is way too acidic for your skin, and therefore it can compromise your lipid layer, cause hyper pigmentation and collagen breakdown. It's really bad and irritating to your skin, I just wanted to let you know! I would suggest just using rose water, rosehip oil or vitamin c :)

    moroccan red clay powder is a great addition to a face mask. It soothes and mousturizes while not stripping your skin.

    Deeeefinitely don't use lemon juice since it's way to acidic for the skin omg. Also it can cause skin discoloration if you aren't careful.

    Thanks for the wonderful video! I've been wondering if Manuka honey is really better than regular raw honey or not. I'll definetly try it!
    I use oatmeal and honey and it is soooo moisturizing, softening and soothing. I grind up oatmeal in the food processor into a powder, add a little hot water to make a paste, let it sit for a minute and then add the honey and apply it to my face. I leave it on until the oatmeal dries and then rinse it with cold water. My skin loves it!

      Lemon is an acid and can unbalance the ph levels of your skin. However, some people use it if they have pigmentation, but, there are other alternatives to lemon that can help with pigmentation. If you use lemon, don't apply it every day.

    I am from India and we use turmeric both internally and externally. To get rid of turmeric stain from face, our grandmothers used to use chickpea flour paste ( mix chick pea flour with little water). It’s a natural cleaner used even on babies. If you have really dry skin, wash it off before it over dries but it ll surely get rid of turmeric stain from your face.

    I've been using a self-made honey mask for some time now and can really recommend it. I mix honey with tulsi powder and a few drops of rosehip oil (I use Pai's) and sometimes leave it on over night but even just 10 minutes really make a difference :) Honey finally healed my acne and helped my skin to settle down- I haven't used other face masks since :) Lots of love from Germany

    Love you and your videos Sarah, but can you show no honey masks for vegans please? I think it's great you eat plant based, would be great if you were vegan too. If you didn't realise that honey is cruel to bees, and one of the primary reasons that the number of bees are drastically depleting, I'd really recommend you look into this xx

    • @NOURELHOUDA-ms8pf

      Tania Rachel but bees were created to make honey ! am i wrong?

    • @taniarachel9785
      @taniarachel9785 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      NOUR ELHOUDA absolutely, but not got human consumption, they need that themselves, it's their food. Here's more info if you're interested- greenbeautyteam.com/features/honey-bees-are-suffering-and-why-you-should-give-a-damn/

    • @taniarachel9785
      @taniarachel9785 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NOUR ELHOUDA whoops that was meant to say for human consumption.
      Most vegans choose to avoid honey as it's having a devasting effect on bees' survival and you can rarely be sure that the honey is obtained ethically. I hope that helps :)

    • @destinychicshop3206
      @destinychicshop3206 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      i think stop using honey is actually harming the bee population more than helping them since beekeepers and honey collecting companies help to increase the bee population by creatine more hives for them to thrive. Like the article you quoted here, if you are really concerned about unethical beekeepers who left the bees with only sugar water to survive during winter then buy the honey from ethical companies who really care about the bees and leave them enough healthy food for winter!

    Studio 35 Detoxifying Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask
    This stuff smells awesome....I was sure if I was supposed to apply it or eat it. : )
    I've left it on for about 20 minutes and it definitely feels tight. I'm mainly trying it because of dead skin.
