      Great thing but people registering should be aware that participation in the giveaway apparently requires an instagram account, which wasn't mentioned (or if, well hidden) on the giveaway website but I only found out later once I was asked to "confirm my email". Reason is supposedly "so we can contact you if you win", but that seems .. unlikely given that one needed to provide your email address to participate in the first place which should be sufficient to contact people I'd think.

      @darmokVtS we don't ask for your credit card or instagram password. I clearly said that sharing our post is "an entry". This way we can track who actually follows the account and shared the post. If you're uncomfortable about the process - no one is forcing you to participate.

    Instead of the megane RS brake kit, try Reyland Motorsports kit with AP Racing CP9200 callipers and 330mm 2 piece discs. I have ran that setup on my GT86 for ages and it is probably the best setup to install without disturbing the brake bias.

    For me BBK/Steel lines, Sway bar/strut brace, and ideal tire/suspension tune is a mandatory MOD to make this car truly ideal. With a SC and ideal header+exhaust combination im sure it can be very competitive. For the range of handling/power-torque band and overall cost.

  • @church493
    @church493 ปีที่แล้ว

    I guess, except engine, there might be more common with gt86 then dissimilar. If so, as you noted, car will benefit a lot from more overall negative camber (extra 0.5deg more in front for less understeery grip balance), zero toe front, slight toe in rear. As for TC long press off, probably you still have EBD and e-diff on. If you want to switch those off too to leave only basic ABS, google on pedal dance (specific handbrake/brake sequence within 30s of starting (warmed up) engine). ABS imho not worth switching off (with fuse). Apart from better fit brake pads/fluid, you may also consider adding brake ducts.

    When i upgraded my calipers to bigger ones incl. braided steel lines i noticed a much much better and faster stop, it almost feels like you hit a concrete wall... while "experts" say it does not matter how big your brakes or pads are it still have same stopping distance... i call bullsjit... i tested it multiple times and it was way more aggressive from stock to big brakes... The more surface area the better bite... which comes from my own mechanical engineering experiences even a friend who didn't know i had them upgraded asked me if i did something to the car.
    And the next upgrade for me is a oil cooler (never had high temps just yet btw) and indeed a coil over set incl. an laser alignment, dunno why Manthey ask so much money it only costs 60 euro's here from a well known tyre dealer who is also involved into F1 racing.

    My main question is for you, I ordered White line camber bolts and SPC performance arms for the rear, and I changed my alignments but I had a strange feel on the track yesterday, the car is not sharp into the corner as I wanted, and the alignments I did
    Front camber : -2.25R - 2.25L Front tow- +0.6R + 0.6L Rear Camber: - 2.5R - 2.5L Rear tow +0.4R +0.4L

    I just realized he brakes with his left foot. Is this what all racers do?

      Yes, today almost all drivers are using their left foot to brake.

    I would love to see whether there are some aerodynamics mods that actually improve the handling. I don't know how viable that is though

      @@mgcharoudin even some basic improvements on making the floor of the car smoother would make a lot of difference. Although most drivers won't be fast enough with this car to really benefit from actual downforce...
