I've just copped one of those in wheat for a bit under 100 usd a couple of days ago. It was just by chance and the stocks were gone in just a few hours, sort of a discount on top of a discount kind of deal. I also got one in mono-grey, but only discounted once. They're really good with jeans and are really comfy if they fit you right. I got mine a full size down. The latest ones got Rebotyl linings and Primaloft insulation in place of Goretext now. They also have orthopedic insoles.
Thanks for another great review. Picked up a near new pair of these on eBay for AUD$95 including freight. They look good and feel comfortable straight away. Your reviews have been instrumental in my acquisition of quality boots (25 pair). Time for a pause. 😂😂😂😂 Thanks Teik.
What a cool story behind this boot. Kinda sounds like the Gentleman’s Journey 👌 I may have to get a pair to check out someday. Cant believe it has became a gangster boot 🤷♂️🤦♂️ can’t say why but the wheat nubuck has not grown on me. Another great video!
I like my Nicks, RM Williams and Danner (their USA made ones) but after several attempts with Timberlands, I highly recommend their Redwood Falls or Alburn boots. Both have been far superior to the comfort and styling than their more iconic variant. As a boot snob, I still can't bring myself to put them to the side. They look great, they are comfortable and honestly, getting them resoled isn't hard and its surprisingly cheap from a good cobbler. A simple strip, sand, glue, cut, sand and done.
Re: styling with chinos at 12:18 this is precisely how Sam Neill wears his Timberland boots in Jurassic Park. He wears pleated wider fitting chinos with a denim shirt, neckerchief & of course his hat. I'm pretty sure Jack Nicholson wears a pair in The Shining also
I hate the way the hip hop guy’s wear them. Laces dragging on the ground and untied to the last three eyelets. Silly pants around their ankles. They make a great thing look like it’s made for idiots.
There is no book to this life and there is definitely no book to this fashion thing with that being said don't knock somebody else's style we're all different...Peace
Keep up the great videos! You are an excellent teacher and I enjoy the way you articulate your thoughts.
Wow, thanks! Truly appreciated!
I’ve purchased a number of Timberland boot styles. They all look and feel great. They go great with either denim or khakis.
Just ordered me some.. looking forward to wearing them!!
From one accountant to another, nice video!

Good buy!
I’m wearing mine right now with hospital scrubs. Not for a surgical suite but definitely for walking the wards I think they’re great.

“Time for a pause” 😂😂😂 Good luck!
Nice thorough review... however, not my style of boot.
BIG UPs! 💚💛❤👊
All good! Thanks

Great video! what about sizes? it is true that we always should get one number down? Thanks!
Best way to fix your size is to get fitted at a store since they’re so readily available in stores
6:04 I don’t think Gore-Tex waterproof/breathable laminate material is present in these Timberland boots.
Nice video I paid $170 aud for mine
You have to buy timberland cleaning kit to take good care of your timberland

I guess it takes all types to make a world. (But between you and me.....)
Agreed
