I’m proud to admit my dad played the final Villain in the last Bibleman Live Show DVD. He played The Commandant of Confusion. He refers to himself as “ The villain that defeated Bibleman” since they never made another live action video after the one he was in.
I kid you not, when I was five my Christian Kindergarten class played a Bibleman tape. I don't remember much about it other than they put a bunch of evil bugs inside Bibleman and he was grunting and groaning in pain, and it scared me so badly that the teacher had to help move me out of the room because I was screaming and crying in terror.

they were trying not to make him too scary i guess. but what does Bibleman have that the bad guys dont? THE POWER OF GOD AND ANIME- jk he's got the power of God but also tunnel bike and full armor of God
I love the fact that Bibleman is a self insert character in the first season cuz the guy who plays Bibleman wrote and directed it, so he constantly makes meta jokes about it. But then, the show kinda fell apart in the 2nd and 3rd season when it had different writers entirely. It is a great exploration about ego as for sure xD

The Bunny Song originally had lyrics like "I don't love my Mom or my Dad just the bunny" and "I won't go to church and I won't go to school", and kids sang that song, so the lyrics got changed 3 years later in the video to stop the issue.

As a Christian I can confirm, this is far better than the usual “sky daddy? pff! Who would ever believe in that?” which is pretty patronizing and a little old since if I want to see that all I have to do is log onto Reddit for ten minutes.

I remember seeing these tapes and various playsets and action figures from this show, and thought it looked so bizarre. I'm mildly hyped to see what the hell it actually was
Just watched Spiderman 3 in theaters. Was absolutely the funniest theater experience I’ve had. People dancing to Bully Maguire, applauding to Stan Lee, pointing out and repeating each meme shown, and a whole lot of laughs. Felt like I was in one of your episodes, but with 100+ people. 🧡😆

Our Drawings is currently one of the only pieces of cinema I have ever found so bad that creating an entire new G tier wasn't good enough and I stuck it in H tier (the other case being the season finale of lion guard)
Why does this remind me of “The Mask” starring Jim Carrey? Also, before I could sit still in church, the vhs's we had were "Veggietales" and "The Donut Repair Club" (if anyone else knows, I'm sorry)
Honestly, a bible verse being a secret code is a decent idea, since the bible has so many translations that someone could be there for hours trying to guess even if they have the right verse.
9/10 I love episodes like this with Josiah Bren Jude and lauren. Alot of the jokes made me laugh out loud and the show itseld is that right amount of cheese, camp, and bad for mws to bounce off of
I knew someone who was associated with the production for this show. (Around 2007). First things first, they had a budget of about 50 dollars for each episode. They often times relied heavily on donations, most of that went to distribution. None of the production team worked on any productions before this (shocker). Most of them worked for a church and most of them went to the same church. 90% of the filming locations were in public areas because they couldn’t afford to film it in a studio and the area they filmed these episodes in had no film studio anyway. The “lab” where bibleman plans and gives pep talks to his team, was literally a camper that they didn’t own. The actors were either members of their church or actors from around the area. None of them were paid, some of them were given gift cards. The original series had a better budget than the reboot because an independent media company (literally 5 people with a camera) decided to reprise the series. After the reboot got mostly negative reviews, they couldn’t find adequate investors to keep the show going and the actor who played bibleman around that time didn’t want to continue.
Man, I remember Brian Lemmons. Yes, his name was Lemmons. Anyway, he played basically half of all the Bibleman villains. And every time, it's a different outfit.
I remember that I went to this random hole in the wall Christain store when I was younger, and there was a whole miniature section of Bibleman action figures and merchandise based off of some new animated Bibleman series. They even had a TV playing episodes from the series
