- After falling in love with Kuala Lumpur, we travelled south to Melaka (Malacca). We ate great food, toured the historic old town, and cruised down the river. Hopefully after watching this, you'll add Melaka to travel list!

Just fyi, for correction during timestamp 15:40 you are ate Nasi Kandar not nasi lemak. Nasi Kandar is type of the one that you said exactly while Nasi Lemak, using white rice with infused coconut milk and it smell fragrant, sometime they put Pandan leaves too. Normal typical nasi lemak are consist of white rice infused coconut milk, egg (boiled or fried sunny up), small fish (anchovies), cucumber and red sauce (called Sambal- typical spicy cooked with chili and tamarind flavor). Nasi lemak nowadays can get even in mamak restaurant too, but preferred you find a small road stall that sell it, much better.
Tips when eating with hand, do not lift the shoulder, just the elbow and wrist are moving
Always scoop rice with spoon on right hand and fork on left to support/guiding 。
White people always eat with fork even when eating rice. Strange.
We are fine with using utensils for rice.. but fork?
Mosque is not closed. Probably prayer time.
Melaka is one of the most unique tourist destinations in Malaysia. Do your homework well, and you'll have a ball of a time. The Peranakan cuisines are a must try when in Melaka!😊
Some tourists commented melaka is better than hoi an.
Just look around you to learn how people eat.
