- Today for the first time I'm checking out XG, now this is a total new group to me. And since I saw they had just released a song I thought I give it a go!

XG are aiming for global recognition, which is the reason why they classify themselves as Xpop, and not Jpop or Kpop, and have all English songs. They are influenced and inspired by late 90s, earlys 2000s R&B/ Hip-Hop, and you can sense that in their music. However, they can also do other styles, which you will see, if you keep reacting to their other songs. They are a great group that have it all well covered when it comes to rap and vocals.
I'm excited to see more, I think this is a group I can grow to really like in the future! ✨
XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group based in South Korea aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX.
They speak Japanese, Korean, and English.

If you are planning to get into girl groups, I would recommend aespa. This would be a good time as they have a cb next week. I am not sure if you have heard them already but if you would like to explore new groups then they are amazing. Supernova is their most recent release, I would also recommend Black Mamba, Savage and Drama to give you an idea of their music style.

Woke Up isn't a goid song to start out on becsuse it's so different from most of their music.
The two songs I checked out was on two different sides! but that actually really intrigued me! I'll do a listening to them again ✨
