Top rights Starfall was clearly the MVP. When it first opened fire it immediately cleared out everyone from bottom right then shortly after top left. And defensively stopped what would have been a fatal capital ship run by near the end.
I host games on this map all the time but on 4v4v4v4 which runs great. I also host Humans vs SCAVs vs Barbarians If I have 10-12 players vs 4-5 Barbarians and Scavs, then it's laggy. Yet, my cpu is a cool 30-40% usage and GPU is mid. Similar with friends playing on the same hosted game. So it could be just limitations of the game itself? Anyway I'm still amazed with this game and how much things happening at the same time. I'm an old guy who use to play TA all the time in the late 90s.
This lagging behind was disgusting after just a few minutes. Not sure what exactly causes such unplayable delay accumulation but apparently it wasn't a task for my own 20 cores, nor any apparent issues server-side with networking, so curious to know why.
Blimey, which server was subjected to this punishment and what did it do to deserve it? Can the Xeon E5s handle this, or is there a big daddy one that was dedicated to single instance?

wew gg, keep pushing this to a 1000 person game!

As someone on the bottom right team, I can confirm that Starfall was so fatal

Games are never hosted on a played pc, when you create a lobby, you are only the "boss" of said lobby which is hosted in the server of BAR.
@@spac3drunk283 The Barbarian AI's are only controlled by the player who added them (but it does support multithreading)

The commanders were just sending their units orders in real time, is all.
Damn when was this i missed it.

the server only does the networking pass though without doign any simulation itself
What kind of computer can take this?!? 😱
7950X3D with a RTX 4070, the 3D cache really really helps with large unitcounts!
