It would be great if they just added like 5 empty dots under Blademasters turn meter and each turn one turns red so on the fifth is the double dmg. Easy to track, easy to see, makes our lifes easier and I think its not that hard to do.
at 6*, crushing rend is still the top choice. because the damage bonus from the passive is floating across the 3 skills, crushing rend, area bonuses and ignore def sets will bring him close to 100% ignore defense on all skills. sure, it doesn't boost the a2 at all, but with 6* rend and all of that ignore def, the a3 becomes will hit just like the a2 does when its aoe.
Rathalos is broken op. I've done 700k with no blessing and with under 200 crit damage. His A1 smacks so hard it consistently pulls 30k on a bad hit and over 100k on a good hit.
Not feeling too well, so obviously must've missed something: Trying to understand at what point does Heavencast enter the equation, that causes a, say, 4% extra damage (4 buffs), to jump to those numbers. He wasn't even at ignore 100% defense at that point, was him? The first tests? Because as far as I know, the lower defense by 60% debuff doesn't stack linearly with the 35% he's getting from those 6 Merciless pieces. For hydra (and waves if you use him there) hero's soul is arguably better. Depending on how may buffs you have and your build (mischief) as you get 1% dmg boost for each living enemy. If you can stake more then 4 buffs on him and protect them from mischief head, then heavencast has a higher potential.
You just need to figure out what's working and what's not. Hydra becomes pretty easy once you understand it. The trick is not to get trapped in the Demon Lord clan boss mind set.
I like his aesthetic and the skills but my ninja still outdamage him in the hydra with the burns 😢 i could be wrong tho. Or am i squeezing more damage from rahtalos

First of all brimstone is terrible on him because it needs accuracy to land and you shouldn’t be building accuracy in his kit only damage. If your clan boss team utilizes many different buffs and you get alllot to stack yes heaven cast is the best blessing for him. If you’re gonna start taking him into iron twins or sandlashed or any dungeons basically crushing rend is the best option

2% increase per buff...looks good on paper but you'd need a team heavy on buff extenders to be consistent and youd need to make sure to have a great mischief tank which means yku basically have to have Krisk or champs just like him. So to accomplish this youd have to be extremely lucky or have a strong wallet. Pass. Ill stick with Crushing Rend

I like your convo style but was annoyed the actual blessing wasn't mentioned until i hunted through and found it so figured I'd note it for the other impatient souls.

Scratch I am leveling Cleopterix tomorrow because I got a lucky 6 star for him, what would your recommendation be?

Rathalos most underrated champ ever? He’s gotta be top 15 if not top 10 hydra dps. Been great for me in teams with and without hp burn
I`m thinking about to test this blessing on my 2x demytha cb team. He has 9 to 10 buffs constantly but the blessing is only 2 stars
been using Heavencast in my double myth CB since you have pretty much 10 buffs at once most the time on rathalos

Potentially. That is very broken as a blessing lol. Depending what set and masteries you on him as well.

different uses... heavencast raw damage, soul reap for wave clear/pvp, and brimstone for boss killer

I use the ring in my block damage comp so it's niche but gives me my 7th buff

Running mine on instinct. And crit damage gear. Ignores defense. Followed up with ignore def mastery.

That wont hold, once he gets dmg the shield is gone.
Scratch, they will nerf the rathlos set, the battle forge is offline, removed

Couldn't make it through the video to see what it was about.
To summarize, Skratch recommends heavencast when you are able to give him a lot of buffs to Rathalos to boost his damage, especially in hydra.
