i wish they would have put never seize on my new macks they were a bear to get loose when it was time to replace the springs , once i replaced a trunoin that was all cracked did all by hand reused most bolts after i did a few i learned that you could take the spring apart and lift a few leafs in at a time a six foot pipe on a sears& roebuck 3/4 ratchet to break em loose cheery red then impact the u bolts off the more you re use em the easier the are to get off

Mack camel backs are one reason God invented Acetylene gas.
Next time, cut all fasteners apart and use new.
Unless time spent with family is low on your priority list.

Mr. Real Truth: what you're doing is highly unadvisable. Suspension parts like the ubolts and nuts are for single use only. The first time you tighten the bolt it will stretch a prescribed amount.
It's like a mountain climbers back up rope. Once the rope is used to catch a free fall, it's cut up because the rope has stretch, which is why it doesn't snap or break the climbers back. But the designed stretch built into the rope has been used. If used again there is a high chance it may snap.
A 100ft climbing rope will stretch 6ft. But from then on it will be 105ft as it will contract back about a foot.
So next time cut the bolts off with the torch and throw into the recycle bin, and relax knowing you have safe new hardware on board and she's as safe as the day she was built. Best of luck to you.

Just replaced the trunnion stand itself. It's a bitch. 2-3 days. Crazy.

Doing that now. 2 days in and only have one side off . I call it a nightmare. Second side should be better because I’m just going to torch everything. Did you have to remove the driveshaft?
