I came across one of your videos day before yesterday and I have been watching all of them nonstop. I just watched your “sympathy “ video and it spoke to me. Thank you for that! I love all of your different videos and I think you have a gift/platform to speak to women about struggles, etc.... And your fashion segments are fantastic. I am 46, live in Texas, and we had a place in Telluride for 8 years(vacation). We came very close to moving there at one point-y’all totally did it the right way with the gap year. Thank you for your amazing inspiration!

It's hard to move here permanently because it's tough to travel from here... and tough to make a living from here. The gap year seemed like a great way to try it out. So far, it's awesome! OMG!!! You look amazing!! Thank you for being an inspiration to women in their 40s. I love all the looks and even though I may not have the budget for them, I use them as inspiration when looking for options in my budget. For example, I loved the pink dress that you wore and I actually found similar dresses on Lulus that were in my budget. Although they weren't the same, I am always able to use your ideas to help me put together outfits. I love that I can use your excellent style advice and create outfits that work for me at my price point. :) Thank you again and you look incredible!!

We were on Main St in town. If we get another place we would get one in Mountain Village. Town is quite loud(all the time)! Enjoy your time there.

Thanks for the video Erin. I am going to Israel in August and I’ve been thinking (already!) about what to bring. I love vacation type fashion videos. I would love a suggestion for some airy maxi dresses and skirts with cover ups that I can wear when touring more conservative areas.
By the way, I love high waist bottoms. I have loose skin from 3 pregnancies so the High waisted bottoms hide that while showing off my toned upper abs.

Loved the suits and coverups, everything looked stunning on you. The white suit is beautiful but $$. Just wondering how easy it is to get on and off. I love getting new bathing suits for beach vacations but I am just too practical and ease of getting into the suit is important, I actually pulled my upper arm trying a suit on....it was hilarious. Anyway I am in and out of the ocean and the pools all day when on beach vacations so the suits need to hold up to a lot of abuse for me.
I think the black Robin Piccone suit is really easy.. as is the La Blanca and the high waist bikini. The white one is probably the trickiest since it has the highest neckline. Hope that helps.. you crack me up! Erin xo
I got the elan cover up last summer in chambray stripe and it's gorgeous and so comfy. I wore it constantly when we went to a resort in Phoenix. Gorgeous picks! I tend to prefer two pieces because my torso is long and I'm 5'8". Can't hang with the wedgie! 😂

I use Supergoop! I think you just try the hat and see how you look in it. Take a picture and then look at the picture. Helps with objectivity. Erin xo

Erin, what would you wear on the beach if you were too self-conscious even in a one piece? I miss going to the beach so much. Because of health issues I have not been able to exercise in several years and I have gained weight. I'm about 20 pounds over where I feel comfortable

Great video, what is your height/weight or general size
5'4" ... around 115 ... generally a size 2 or 4, 25 or 26 in jeans. But sizing is ALL over the place. For example, at J.Crew, I'm a 0. In that Robin Piccone suit, I'm a 6. Size charts can help. Thanks for watching! Erin xo

I was always always thin and then after tuning 40 I noticed that I was having a bit of a hard time staying in shape also after having my 2nd child... however it is mostly my fault because I try to eat like I used to eat when I was younger and it’s not working out. I have a big sweet tooth especially with ice cream so sometimes I indulge so it’s harder for me to lose weight. I’m sure if I start eating really healthy and working out consistently I would lose all this weight. I’m just not used to watching what I eat all the time because when I was young I could eat anything I want to

I was a 36 D ..now I’m a 38 F .. I’m on a diet to loose around 8 kilos .. so I’m trying to find pieces that would look flattering .. I can’t find anything for women like me …

Unfortunately, at 5’ 10”, with long everything, unless the suit says “long torso”, which are VERY few, and not usually sexy, it doesn’t even reach my boobs. I try for the best tankinis or modest 2 pcs I can find.
You might want to try the high waist bikini bottom combo. Very chic and lovely!

That white bathing suit is the most spectacular piece of clothing that I have ever seen, and so much sexier than a skimpy bikini!
OMG Erin, you look amazing in a swimsuit!!! Even your butt cheeks look great! I think I need a one piece suit that has biker pants that go down to my knees.........LOL.....LOL, Everything looks good but my thighs. I have had a lot of muscle atrophy over the last 5 1/2 years. I was diagnosed with relapse-remitting MS, and my life changed dramatically! I spent the first year in bed, and I am not able to exercise like I use too. LOL......So my thighs look like they belong to an 80-year-old, I do have cover-ups that look great with a one piece suite, but eventually, it has to go for me to actually get in the water. I'm Open to any suggestions you might have???
Firstly, I am SO sorry about your MS. I know a lot about it as my mom was misdiagnosed with MS in her 30's. We kept waiting for the deterioration, which didn't happen. We were lucky! What about a swim dress?? I think they are SO pretty!! Like this style...amzn.to/2DIfm8d
