    Jobari used the topic of misogyny as a tactic, so as to disunite the Christian audience in attendance. The goal was to pit women against men, and go off course. Misogyny, or perceived misogyny, is a topic worthy of discussion within the church. However, that wasn't the focus of this discussion/debate.
    He went for this jugular, for he felt it was easily exploited, as well as a sticking point. That was a cynical move on his part, for he knew Bantu was not prepared to address that issue, but was laser focused on the debate topic at hand.
    Outside of that-the brother was all over the place. Some, with a confirmation bias, and even an agenda, may want to consider Jobari as the victor in this debate. And if he (Jobari) is classified as the winner, it's on style only-not the substance. Substance wise-Bantu won this debate, flaws and all.

      @@karenlake5907 No, I listened, just like I listened to his other points, as it related to early Christian violence, which wasn't the focus of the debate/discussion. Does the topic of misogyny need to be dealt with in the church? OF COURSE! But not during a debate when the subject is dealing with Christianity being a copycat, or retread of other religions. Be fair with your opponent, and understand that their preparation is concentrating on a narrow specific area, not the side issues (that deserve their own segment) Jobari introduced, so as to cause confusion for the moment. You see, it' one thing to discuss Christianity's origins, it's quite another thing to critique the teachings, side issues, and theology. Again, this was a cynical ploy on his part. A piece of ammunition from his bag of "conscious" tricks, in order to win people to his side, seeing as how his overall presentation really didn't hit the mark, truth be told. He knows this is a hustle "Hotep" folks go to, for pandering purposes, when all else fails. And speaking of going off-topic, we as a people (I'm assuming you're black) can't seem to stay on topic, when it comes to orderly, moderated debates. I don't know; maybe it's cultural. But I've seen other groups/ethnicities debate, and it appears as if they don't have as many problems with staying on point. And when a debater does indeed go
      off course, by introducing another topic, it is immediately pounced on, noticed and shut down by the moderator. Why? It is not fair to the other debater, whose preparation was solely focused on the topic at hand. An ethical debater, regardless of how passionate they are for their side, wouldn't throw a curveball filibuster, so as to throw the discussion off. It's like a boxer throwing a low blow because it is the only option that is left for the victory. Likewise, as far as a debate tactic, skilled debaters that are on the losing end, will throw the debate for a loop, by highlighting a sensitive topic, in order to glean some type of moral victory, by dividing the other side's audience. For Jobari, the goal is for folks to forget all of the relevant facts that Bantu was knocking out the ballpark, by leaving
      the audience with a negative taste in their mouths. Folks like Jobari, an eloquent public speaker, and at times-sophist demagogue-knows that the human mind can be fragile and emotional, to where the only thing many folks will remember and focus on, is thee concluding hot button issue, OR the last controversial statement made. Besides, Jobari knew he was losing the debate substantively, that's why he was insulting, and pandering-because there was no substance. In other words: there was no there, THERE. He knows this to be true about his motivations and intentions. Men like him don't fool me.

  • @qcbtbx
    @qcbtbx 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    Ironic that Jabari harps on the importance of acknowledging and undero context, but ignores it when he talks about "misogyny is in the Bible." 🤔
    Instead, he anachronistically applies a modern definition and understanding of the term on the ANE setting of the OT. He does likewise with NT passages. Nice slight of hand, but upon further inspection, one can see what he did there.

That since the unifying principle is actively working to create, order/organize or unify the multiplicity, and maintain the universe through and across time, that this principle, being pervasive throughout, has manifesting throughout history. You have to understand the biblical faith and story of the bible! Is different than the stories mainstream christianity has presented! I don't feel he expounded on these enough, small things like dec 25th having nothing to do with christ! Easter and christmas being pagan holidays! etc But christians who celebrate christmas and easter wouldn't be able to respond to this so what do you do! Also Bantu thinks its okay for christianity to adopt from other faiths, and vice versa and say its complementary will not be good and will play towards his defeat in this debate! Also debunking egyptian resurrection stories which can't really fall under the category as a resurrection would've been great too! but hey! So I don't agree with jabaris info here but I believe he won this section of the debate!

      Mike Jones Dr. Bantu address every question and reaffirms the point of the debate. Of course neither Mr. Jabari or Dr. Bantu met the sources because they existed thousands of years before they were born...duh. Dr. Bantu referenced his sources, Mr. Jabari made excuses as to why he could not provide sources and spent more time diverting the debate by saying, "He's lying to you!
      "He knows that you dont know that!
      Etc. Sounds like to me Mr. Jabari didn't have a substantial come back of the evidence Dr. Bantu professionally and compassionately presented.

    There's more to this debate than this writer admits, it's an archeological fact that the earliest reference of 'Israel' appears in Merneptah Steele created in 1200 BC. Here it is in reference to the followers of Akhnetan who coz of royal decree could not be named and were called as “iisii-r-iar”, those who have sinned. Which later on With passage of time was changed from “iisii-r-iar” to "Isra", consisting of the name of a deity and a verb, to "Israel".
    It's also a recorded fact that Moses was raised in the royal household and must have known about this interpretation of God, and He was also the lawgiver of Jews who culled those who reversed back to Pantheon or idol worship.
    It is also widely a biblical fact that Jesus was raised in God and human guidance in Egypt, and it is believed that they were accompanied on this journey by John the baptist.
    Akhnetan called his followers Children of light and there is a very large overlap in the teachings of Atenic religion and Christianity
    Christianity is the continuation of the true atenic religion of Light. There's no monotheism outside it.

    Prophetic Fulfillment Against Egypt:
    Ezekiel 29:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
    14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros (Upper Egypt/The Thebaid) , into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
    15 It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations....
    This prophecy was fulfilled after the Persian captivity of Egypt, after Alexander the Great. The Egyptian rulers (and any supposed power from their gods) was relegated to just Pathros (being Upper Egypt) for any rulership or revolutionary rule such as with the following Pharaohs...Hugranaphor, Ankhmakis and Harsiesi. After the Greeks came the Romans, Byzantines and several periods of Muslim rule and the indigenous Pharaonic rule crumbled and native Egyptians were diminished.
    Jeremiah 46
    19 O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.

    If this were a professional debate then of course Jabari lost by default because he never really engaged the topic.
    HOWEVER...
    Jabari won in terms of polemics. For a casual person watching the debate Jabari "sounded" stronger. He was poised and exuded confidence. Dr. Bantu was stuttering, and "Ummming" a lot during his second round up. And I say that as a believer and someone who engages kemetics online etc.
    That said, if the purpose of this debate was to engage the audience and those watching then those who may be on the fence on this issue didn't hear anything persuasive from us. The fact is that in the world of the 24hr news cycle, "reality" TV and social media, public discourse is swayed by hot clips, sound bites, "dragging" and "fact-ISH' arguments. In other words, polemics. So in that sense Jabari prolly did more to bolster his cause than Dr Bantu did for ours IMO.

    BREAKING NEWS!
    The first mention of Yahweh were the Shasu of Yahweh from Edom. Edom before Esau.
    EDOM is the Land of Seir the Horite.
    Yhwh is the God of the Horites from Edom..
    *Two hieroglyphic references dating to the New Kingdom (1550 BC-c. 1069) refer to “the land of the Shasu of YHWH.” These are the oldest references to YHWH outside the Bible. The "Shasu of Yhw" is found on inscriptions from the Nubian temples of Soleb and Amara West, and corresponds precisely to the tetragrammaton.
    The Horites originated in the Nile Valley. One of the oldest Horite temples was built at Nekhen in modern Sudan. At that time, around 4000 BC, the city set on the banks of the Nile. Originally the shrine was probably at water's edge, but later it was moved to high ground. The Horites are the oldest known caste of priests. They are later identified as ethnically Kushite.
    Shasu may be a variant of Saka, another word for Horite royal priests among the Kushites. As they dispersed out of Africa, they spread the Proto-Gospel across the vast Afro-Asiatic Dominion. The Matsya Purana claims that the Saka ruled the ancient world for 7000 years.
    The Shasu are definitively connected to the Horites of Seir in Edom (modern Jordan). The Horites occupied Edom at least as early as 2000 BC. Lists of place names in Nubian temples of Soleb and Amara West record six toponyms located in “the land of Shasu.” A monument of Ramesses II claims that he “has plundered the Shasu-land, captured the mountain of Seir” in Edom; a 19th Dynasty letter mentions “the Shasu-tribes of Edom” and Ramesses III declares that he has “destroyed the Seirites among the tribes of the Shasu.” Clearly, the Egyptians regarded the Shasu as a prominent part of the Edomite population which is described in Genesis 36.
    Yahweh is from Edom and therefore a God of the Horites.
    Deut 33:2: Yhwh came from Sinai, and rose up unto us from Seir; he shined forth from mount Paran.
    Judg 5:4-5: Yhwh, when you went out of Seir, when you marched forth from the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped; yea, the clouds dropped water. The mountains quaked before the presence of Yhwh, the one of Sinai; from before Yhwh, the God of Israel.
    Hab 3:3: God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran.
    The priests of Heru in the bible are called Horites=Followers of Heru
    Hor=Horus + ites=Followers of
    Job was a Horite
    Hur/Hor the father of Bethlehem was a Horite
    The father of the Christian faith, Abraham was a Horite=Follower of Heru of Nekhen and Edfu.
    Heru of Edfu is Heru Behutet

    Some of these topics are resolved in other biblical historical text such as in the book of Enoch, Jubilees, book of Jasher, Josephus, etc. it explains where the religion comes from in more detail then in the Bible. Abraham went to Egypt and learned from them, so did Moses. When the laws were made it states he sought God of which of the laws that he learned to apply to the Isrealites. That is why we have some of the Egyptian text, they always looked at other cultures to test and see which is the way to go. But just because some was copied doesn’t mean it is inferior. We know from history we learn from others. Moses sought God to which should be included.

    • @stacieellis
      @stacieellis 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mike Jones we can say that with all history. We don’t see them so technically we could say it’s all made up stories. So I could say the same about many aspects about world history, religious history and even family history. But we know some things are true based off of critically analyzing historical documents and looking at archeological evidence. I am not going to sit here and go through the thousands of evidences that we have. With the internet today it doesn’t take much to find these evidences on your own. And if you really want to know you will find it. I find that most people who ask the type of question you ask already have their mind made up that it is not true so I find no point in arguing with someone who doesn’t even want to entertain the possibility that they are wrong. I view history in this matter. I ask questions of why do we believe what we believe. But unlike most people, I don’t just ask the questions but I actually diligently seek the answers. And for me this actually lead me to strengthen my faith and become even more awestruck about God because he even provides substantial evidence for his existence and the existence of these events that are in our holy books. But it is up to the individual to decide if they will believe or seek out the answers. If you really want to know you would do that. The evidence is literally right in front of your face if you just look.

    Yes Osaze seeks to persuade by picking at the emotional sores of social mores like feminism and racial inequality. The ancient world over had many cultural norms that placed men in headship and authority. That's not unique to Christianity! And so, if Osaze hadn't already lost me, his VERY last statement did.
    Very cheap rebuttals in my estimation on Osaze's part. Condescension and emotionalism have no place in scholarly debate.

    Dr. Bantu forgot to acknowledge that Roman and Greeks stole all history, religion, and fabricated the history and Kemet religion. Inquisition is one huge example of Roman Catholic persecution of Hellenic religion, Gnostic religion, and constantly waging war with Islam. Kemet was an ancient civilization while Europe was living in the caves. Kemet was the ancient name of Africa. Greeks were the one's name Kemet as Egypt. Kemet gave birth to Greek and Roman civilization. Dr. Bantu your scholarship is coming from Egyptology, but your lies are already exposed and Kemet will regain her glory so speak up, raise your voice as the last struggle. Jesus was created by Roman Catholic, Julius Ceasar, Josephus Flavian, Pope Julius, and Michaelangelo. When you talking about Christianity that Dr. Bantu forgets that Christianity was invented by Emperor Justinian in 538AD, so Dr. Bantu STOPPED LYING AND TRYING TO DIVERT FROM THE TRUTH. Keep preaching Dr. Bantu your lies will not go far from here. Sorry time is up.

Most people don’t even know what constitutes a solid prophecy. Logical fallacy to the fullest. What a great way to create a circular argument thinking it will trap any claim that comes against it.
