How great he took it out of the car to more than just fix it but create for us a real teachable moment esp for guys like me to ‘conceptually understand’ something this 67 year old now disabled guy had never dealt with till now bc I can’t afford a mechanic anymore…strictly DIY guy now. Butunderstand a helluva lot more now then 20 min ago thst will help me Push on through and solve and repair my gear shifter problem Your a helluva good guy . I do not know how I got to this video why I watched it but I agree it did fix the problem. how all those parts go back It is beyond me. I'm just checking out small repairs for things. I wish I could find a person this smart to help with my cars. when you see people who know what they are doing it makes me worried about others and are they half as smart.
I had a car that has sat for 3 years. Got it into drive, but a week later the trans would not reach drive. Going to try this adjustment on it and see what happens. Trans itself seems functional. Was rebuilt before it sat.
