  • Lifting and mounting the beams on our Wharram Tiki 38 Catamaran / DIY - Ep 12
We had done the boat building on our catamaran, used tons of epoxy and done woodworking all through the winter. We were now ready to lift and mount the beams! If you dream of building yourself a tiki you can get lots of advice in our videos!
In this episode, we move the hulls on a huge trailer to Oslo, where BareBare will lay next to the famous ship Fram. We knock ice of the beams and mount them with the help of good friends.
This video contains only the building parts from «Sailing BareBare». DIY Do it yourself - How to build a simple catamaran on a low budget. Design: James Wharram. Type: Tiki 38 flush decked. Built in plywood and epoxy.

When you drilled the holes into the beams, you bolted them to the hulls? Is that in addition to the lashings?
