@@jesuszafra1343 nah because Simon doesn’t own his record label anymore he gave it up thereby getting rid of X factor it’s just the got talent shows and the voice now he wouldn’t be allowed to get involved although he would have the connections it’s a fanbase that will push her out there to get a record deal

This is not just the usual mom who wants her daughter to get an opportunity. This is a mom who sees the incredible, outstanding vocal talent of her daughter while the daughter didn't realized it herself yet and passing the audition to Tia was the right push at the right time to step up of the shower into the limelight. Well done Mom, well performed daughter.
While Tia's reaction seemed genuine, I still think its extremely likely that this was staged by the producers pulling out their usual tear jerking schtick. Someone probably gave the idea to the mother after hearing the daughter sing on a cell phone video the mother took.

I’m actually really happy they didn’t press the gold buzzer! Not because I don’t want her to win but because I think this voice deserves to be on many episodes to come and I think the practice that will lead up to the finale will do absolute wonders for her confidence outside of singing.

I love that she didn't try to go all Whitney crazy like some people do with Whitneys songs, she took it made it her own based on what her voice could handle. Very lovely.

It’s not only her voice that’s special, but also her ability to connect with the people, that’s really special
I absolutely applaud the mother. What you did for you daughter was spectacular. A single mother gave her all for her daughter. Now her daughter has a pathway through life beyond most people's dreams and expectations. You can not beat a Mother's love for her child.

Tia was so shy, so nervous, and so afraid before singing. The moment she started singing a complete transformation, or better yet, a complete metamorphosis happened. She became confident, bold, and fearless. I have seen and enjoyed so many auditions on this channel. But I do not think that any of the previous ones has made as big an impact on me as this one has.
Tia, stay strong. Be bold. You have an amazing voice. But even more important, you have an amazing attitude. May God bless you.
YES! Its like.. She kinda knew before this that she was good, but didnt really believe it.. A bit like: "every mom says their child is amazing".. Then, you can almost see during her audition that she has a kind of moment of clarity.. This must have been a MASSIVE confidence booster.. And for mom a BIG "I told you so!" moment..

She sounded like that without PRACTICING FOR THE AUDITION. She did that without expecting to go on stage that day. That's what she did without teachers, without someone giving her advice at where to go next with the song, without the feedback from professionals that she'll be able to get now. This is stunning.

She absolutely belted out that tune. I had to listen to it again and again. I had to go and seek out the original. I honestly had never heard the song before. She absolutely owned it. She made Whitney's (God rest her soul) version sound quite tame. I'm surprised I had never heard the song before, but it wasn't a hit apparently... it should have been. Tia should record her version and make it a mega hit like Whitney made Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" a tremendous success.

Isn't it a parent's most important role, to help her child be confident? I shared this on my Facebook page to remember this moment... I learned to be confident very late in life, I hope that like this mom, I managed to break the mold with my boys. Bravo, young lady. I love your voice Tia, and you are beautiful.
