I recently moved to digital planning. I first bought a planner so I wasn’t rushed to figure out building my own. I taught myself to actually design my own planner and I tweaked what I didn’t like about the one I bought and made one that works well for me. I think it’s fun to make.

This is the most comprehensive video I've found thank you! Also for Samsung users my Samsung Galaxy S7FE came with Samsung's notes app with all/most of the features you've shown. Not sure if the app is the same on their other devices because it is just their regular notes app but with more awesome features.
I use Samsung Noted on my Andoid phone and tablet, and it works great. Hyperlinks work just fine and I can add all the stickers I want. But GoodNotes has a Beta app for Android now, so within the next year, it'll be available fully.
This tutorial was super helpful! I was having a hard time wrapping my head around how the Goodnotes and the planner work together, but you did a great job explaining. It makes more sense now. I loved this planner and it was 50% off, which is even better for such a big bundle. I’m excited to get started on my planner and it’s great that I can use it for all things- school, self care, productivity, goals, etc.

What planner do you suggest for someone for Bible studying and appointments?
I’d actually recommend just using a monthly view and some of the notes pages that are found in Goodnotes, assuming you use Goodnotes! Wouldn’t recommend even buying a planner for those two reasons as you can create your own for free!

The red marks you were making and the red are a “laser pointer” so if you’re screensharing you can point to things during your presentation
The laser tool is great for doing screen recordings for walk through and presentations and such. Not for videoing you working on the planner but screen recording to show what you are doing.
This is a great video! I switched to digital planning with iPad almost three years ago. There is a bit of a learning curve and figuring out what you like, but I love it! Goodnotes is actually selling their own formats in the app now, I haven't tried any of them yet.

Ohh my gravy thank you so much. I have watched a ton of videos that were not so helpful. This is such a great tutorial on digital planners. Very informative and helpful. I was so confused, and this helped immensely with how to do a digital planner.
the advice about getting an undated calendar is good, I just got Goodnotes and I was pondering the Etsy PDF and the dated calendars and if I had to buy one every year. I might try making my own calendar first. At this stage I just want to emulate my calendar whiteboard on the wall and consider a planner later.
I’m not sure if a PDF calendar can zoom into a day to a page or if that is what I want to do, I’m not sure if I want a diary which a whiteboard calandar is not.

For the stickers, I would make a folder for stickers… then past each sticker to them and put it in my notebook I made

The red tool is like a laser pointer
the red lines that disappear are a laser pointer for presentations, e.g. You write class notes that you have to present, you can project it to the class monitor/screen and use the “lazer pointer” to present your notes to your class :D
What free apps can I download the planner on?

Hey! Im needing some help. I’m using the Dash Planner and sticker book in Good Notes! However when using the Lasso tool as referenced at: 15:40, I’m only getting the “Take Screenshot” option for copying and pasting. Is there any way to fix this?
When you click on the lasso tool selections, do you have images turned on?

Hmm. Not sure what you mean. Can you explain what the annoying transitions are?
@@ShayBudgets for example when ever you click a hyperlink or go to next page the screen starts sliding horizontally
Oh you have to change it in your GoodNotes settings. You can change it to vertically which is less annoying I’d say.
Three dots in the top right corner > document editing > scroll direction > vertical

tap the lasso to see if you have "images" selected. If it is clicked, then the sheet itself isn't "pre-cropped" stickers.
