- Te Manaaki - Auckland’s giant Christmas tree
"Head down to Te Komititanga square in lower Queen Street, to see the magical new Christmas tree Te Manaaki this festive season.
Standing at a majestic 18.4 meters tall, decorated with over 10,000 LED lights, 4,000 Pōhutukawa flower decorations and over 200 giant baubles, it marks the start of an exciting new festive tradition for Auckland.
A 5min light show will run every 10 mins, each evening until 4 January from 5pm to 10pm."
