Here in dc there are sniper teams on top of all the buildings. there were only a couple rooftops there and to leave one open with full LOS and that close is inexcusable. Simply put, they would rather shut all drones in the area down (which is what they did) than try to go through the ridiculous amount of time and effort it would take to only shut other peoples' drones down, while theirs could still function. That's a lot of money too. It's also a lot riskier, because some rando could use the same methods, so long as they're familiar with them, to have their drone 'read' as an USSS drone. It's actually safer to just kill all the drones in the area.

To be fair, she said she wouldn't give the names in that forum, but can provide them. The sniper did his job and shouldn't need to be harassed by the public. He deserves some privacy. It will come out eventually if they need to question him (I expect they'll probably question any USSS present as well as local LEOs to corroborate). This was an operational and leadership failure. She really shouldn't have access to any evidence if the FBI is investigating, but she should have been able to answer several of the questions. Going in totally unprepared (or lying about it) doesn't inspire the least bit of confidence.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I try to like for the good in people first, I even still like to believe that no one enters politics with the goal of being corrupt but rather to serve the American people and try to make this country better based on what they believe (though their beliefs might be different than mine I hope they still have some good intentions). Maybe I’m just naïve? But I still don’t like to think that everyone is out for themselves, is corrupt, and I like to believe that people, even the worst ones, have some good in them somewhere. But the longer this goes without answers, without people getting arrested or at least fired, and the longer it goes without President Biden or VP/current candidate Harris stepping in and doing something about it then the more I think that some people did want former President Trump dead and I’m starting to think that it started at the very top of Washington. No answers or accountability for too long is how conspiracy theories start and this one is looking more and more like a conspiracy. I mean, c’mon, a 20 year old, zit faced, little punk outsmarted the Secret Service and local PD and just also happened to have a vacant rooftop open that had direct line of sight for a clean headshot?

To be fair, she said she wouldn't give the names in that forum, but can provide them. The sniper did his job and shouldn't need to be harassed by the public. He deserves some privacy. It will come out eventually if they need to question him (I expect they'll probably question any USSS present as well as local LEOs to corroborate). This was an operational and leadership failure.
