Fair food can be expensive often, plus it's in AUD, which are worth less than other currencies around the world, so things seem more expensive there. If you're wondering, 18 dollars AUD is about 12 dollars USD, 16 dollars CAD, and about 9 dollars GBP. But that still is wildly expensive

Anything that has pork (pig meat) is haram in Islam so I’am very careful for what im eating

Other meat isn't automatically halal either. You can't have chicken, beef, or anything else if it isn't certified 😂

A genuine question, why did she mention on all the vegetarian/vegan (not including the chicken salt) foods halal and the ones including meet as not halal? (Btw, this is just my observation)

This is what happens when you buy at kiosks, especially in big cities where you can expect tourists. You see tourists, you see money. Overpriced as hell.

Everything is so expensive here in Australia. We are at a food carnival and it cost us $170 for two people. A small Italian spaghetti bread thing (it was their own invention) was $24 and it was literally the size of your palm. Drinks were $8-$15. A milkshake cost me $14.50. A plate of prawns (about 6 large prawns) was $28. We were left hungry still after we left.
