For the rotator cuff, massage therapy, psychical therapy and acupuncture would all help. I did massage therapy and acupuncture when I hurt my shoulder. Really helped.
the egg trick: slowly and lightly tap the egg on the flat side until you hear it pop (it might be faint) and then boil it! I have the exact same egg cooker thing and sometimes mine break after lightly tapping, just be careful and go nice and slow. it is much easier to peel!!❤

Spoon egg tap. Do it before you cook them. It sounds like it's cracking, as long as you don't actually see a crack in the shell you did it right. And usually for me once they have hit hard-boiled status, the show starts peeling itself lol
Plantar Fasciitis sufferer here and what helped me the most was switching to Crocs. I know they are not the most attractive shoe but they helped the most, even more than the stupid leg/foot braces you sleep in. Maybe you could borrow a pair from Miranda's closet for a test drive.

That water thing that comes with the egg cooker has a needle on it. You are supposed to poke a hole in the big end of the egg before you cook them. They peel very easily. And you do the spoon thing after but if you poke the hole you don’t need the spoon thing 😊
Rachel you lightly tap the flat or fat end of the egg till you hear the pitch change and you definitely can hear it change then you poke the hole because you're using this steamer then get them into cold water After they're done cooking and you can peel them all but you need to eat them within three days after cooking peeled or not
I don’t have any advice for the shoulder but I have done battle with plantar fasciitis. A podiatrist would be the best place to start to treat the foot. My podiatrist recommended mizuno sneakers and specialty inserts for them. I literally would wear the sneakers and inserts 24/7 for 4 months to fix it
Yep. The egg cracking should be done before you cook them, you were just doing it too hard. Gently tap the fat end until you hear what sounds like cracking but should be barely visible on the egg, if at all. But as others have said, the cup with your egg cooker should have the needle point end. Way easier!

The easiest way I’ve found to peel a hard boiled egg is to add some vinegar to the water u boil them in. I think it’s easier than the tapping the bottom.
Rachel, it sounds like you have a torn rotator cuff. They can be familial and resting them is not good for it. You need to keep moving it gently otherwise it will seize up. I have one so I know quite a bit. Also use damp heat like a microwave neck warmer on it, or a hot water bottle wrapped in a damp towel.
You should start a series "Car Talks with Rachel" Where you film on the dash and just talk about what comes to your mind or do things like a Q and A or story time. Similar to Colleen's Corner now I say it 😂 .....
Be careful with heat, depending what you did it can make it worse, & do passive movements with it! Don’t engage the muscles when you do so, but this will keep you from getting frozen shoulder in the sling!
Rachel, Doctor's can help your rotator cuff tremendously....I have rotator cuff repair on both shoulders...Depending on the size or location of the tear you may need surgery...Tendons attach to your rotator cuff and allow your shoulder to function...A small tear may be able to heal on its own without surgery, but you should at least get evaluated...If you wait too long, your tendon could atrophy and then they cannot reattach....Good luck...
Yes you tap them before BUT you tapped too hard just a gentle tap will snap the membrane. I have also found that snapping the membrane helps when you are cracking your eggs for cooking. 🙂💖🐈🐈⬛
I don't know the rules in California, but in PA you cannot drive with a sling on. My husband broke his shoulder last fall and had to be driven everywhere for six weeks. Hurt shoulders are the worst. I hope it feels better soon.
Go see a physical therapist! There are movements you can and should do to help the shoulder heal the right way. Speaking as someone that has had rotator cuff tears on both shoulders.
As a person who is highly educated in muscle function, your thought process is a bit off. Try to see a biomechanics specialist. Putting it in a sling and not using it will not help in the long run. It will be a short term help. Wish I could have a consult with you to help you figure it out and you would be able to get back to your life and not feel so old! Because you are not old!!
