24:00 Yes must be culture shock for most native Texans to find themselves next to immigrant Indian family. They didn’t choose to move to Taxes because they want to be next to a white Christian family, but mostly because that’s where the big tech companies are moving to take tax incentives. As you know, Indians love IT and a lot of what you see is 1st generation migrants. We do adapt well to the American culture but we also hold true to our religious belief, although, not as strong as you’d find it in India. We do not preach conversion nor invite others to follow our practices. Our beliefs do not teach us that. All I sense in your statement is fear. Unreasonable that too.

When it comes to the Jewish question, we can do both. If there are young men who blame their personal problems on others, they obviously need to work through that warped mindset. And at the same time, when there is a religious/ethnic supremacy in government/media/entertainment/finance that shapes all political discourse, we must challenge it and never back down. And Yoram Hazony is an Israel First zionist.

I think the "envy line" is the final bulwark behind, "no its not", "it's a coincidence","semantic quibbling about if it is a race or religion" , "you're a conspiracy theorist", "what are you an antisemite", "well it's because their IQ" and finally (hopefully) "you're just Jelous"
Can anyone honestly an I mean this, can anyone honestly point to an instance where the Christian who is angry at usury, pornography, media, blasphemy, degenarcy, pluralism, genocide, communism, and ethnic nepotism, has ever said -I wish we were doing these things instead! Have you ever gotten the notion they wish they owned a bank, academic theory, film studio, newspaper, super-PAC, NGO?
Ofcourse not. It is a stupid boomerish cope and Kafka trap, used by men who would revile the logic if it were applied to any other group.

The general equity debate: Doug Wilson talks about parenting and how we have a directive, “children obey your parents.” But he says if you are having trouble with an older child or budding teen, you lower the bar to raise the bar. Meaning you have to have wisdom to see what is needed in your home to get to the ideal which is obedience with joy. Same I think applies to the government. We have an ideal as stated by scripture but we have to apply wisdom for how to lead people there.

Exactly. I mean Hindus have protected the Jews in India since first the Temple fell centuries ago. India has the oldest lineage of the Jews and they have lived with Hindus without prosecution. And Hindus have protected Jews from Muslims all the time. If Christians hadn't killed Hindus in India, I mean massacred. By the portugese Christians. If this hadn't happened, Hindus wouldn't be fighting with Christians in India either. But nonetheless Hindus have the greatest track record on protecting people of other faiths. And that's a fact.

I don't think he would disagree with your statement, but he's thinking in categories. You can simultaneously look around at your current multicultural society and praise God for the opportunities afforded you to share the gospel, while also acknowledging that the presence of multiple incompatible cultures living in the same neighborhood betrays a tension that isn't going to disappear until one of the cultures is subsumed into the other. In Joel's case, he's lamenting the fact that when he walks around his neighborhood, he doesn't see his neighbors united by their worship of the true God or signalling submission to that culture, but rather sees Hindus and Pakistanis (likely Muslims), dressed in their traditional religious garb, comfortable publicly identifying with the worship of demons in a state and nation that was founded to be self-consciously Christ-worshipping. It's a sobering and sorrowful thing. People from almost every other nation on earth (whether Christian or non-Christian) will understand the ethno-cultural in-group preference that Joel is expressing, and you'll experience the reverse of it if you visit a country where you look different and don't speak their language. While it can come out in sinful ways (i.e. despising the foreigner), the special love we have for our people in particular is a part of the nature God gave us, and that comes with an accompanying natural distrust of people and cultures that threaten to subvert the wellbeing of the people we naturally love.
And that doesn't at all preclude the coexistence of a desire to share the gospel with those particular neighbors.
