I bought the DVD set two years ago, and I didn't regret it. Don Adams was hilarious in Get Smart. Thanks to Mel Brooks and Buck Henry genius for such a funny show. Makes me smile every time I watch it.
I vaguely remember watching Get Smart as a little kid. I remember thinking this Maxwell Smart needs to get Smart and stop acting stupid. Today it is one of my all time favorite comedies.
I remember watching the show as a young teen in the early 70s ....wow what a great comedy twist on the cold war era then? The writers were great not to mention ? The Great talented actors in that classic and timeless sitcom. In close unlike the pop music of today? And TV shows ? The 60s and 70s were such a great two decades and the entertainment industry from radio to television was in a word? Fantastic. R.I.P. to those great stars both in front of the cameras then as well? As behind the scenes

You forgot the guy who played Max's boss. The Chief.
Edward Platt played the Chief. He committed suicide in 1974 after many years of depression. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
