Nice work, its nice to see someone take the time to actually do some metal finishing instead of the typical cave and pave. Also the look on your face while spooning 13:15 ......priceless

Reminds me of the old social studies films we used to watch in grade 6 , after it was over our teacher let us watch it again backwards and then again in fast motion , it gave our teacher an extra hour away from us I guess ........love it!!!

Impressive! Man, for a guy who has no experience in metal reshaping, WOW ! I wouldn't have the patience to do so. Kudos, my friend !

Bump back up and use a shrinking disc to take the stretch out. Easiest and pretty satisfying to do. Hammering off dolly like you are doing works great but takes a lot lot more work. End results well worth it.

I went to my high school's votech and when a dent occurs it creates a ridge around the dent that is actually higher than the metal around the dent and the dent itself, the idea with the dolly is to hold it and push out on the low spots while smacking around the dolly on these little ridges or high spots to lower the high spots and bring up the low spots, hammering directly on the dolly can cause the metal to shrink, which means it will have an oil can like effect and pop in and out, and will need to be heated to sturdy again

I've said it before but I am amazed at the patience required to restore these loveable old vehicles. Hope you don't mind me dropping a link Kurt. Here in Australia a favorite of mine is Peter Anderson currently restoring a Ford Falcon. In this particular episode he is repairing a hail damaged roof.
