Good stuff.. The one thing I'd add is a keg washer is worth it's weight in gold.. I.e. the Mark's, Kegland Bucket Blaster, SS one, a DIY one. etc. you can run it with or without the posts on, and it'll save money on PBW, etc. in the long run.
Nice tutorial. 2 differences for pin lock owners: 1) There is no PRV valve- you will need to depress the pop-it on the gas side (2 pins) to release the pressure. 2) you will need a special socket with notches to remove the posts since the pin locks have the pins.
No one noticed the SNES mario music but me?!?!??! Love it 🎶

Great point! I have been looking at DIY options myself.
I'm about to pick up a few used so this is perfect timing.
Great overview! I needed one of these when I started kegging!
Oh hey, I recognize the glass the posts are soaking in :)

Love it, thanks for looking out for the pin lock owners!
Great tutorial Matt!
So what do you do if you have hissing from the lid and you have re-adjusted the lid/new gaskets?
There must just not be a good seal, If you have not done so already I would recommend replacing all of the rings with new rings.
