You don't even have to exploit an enchanting loop to do it: just chug a couple dozen fortify smithing potions and improve the wooden sword at a grindstone.
This actually isn't a terrible idea... However, scrolls in the game are pretty terrible overall... there's not a lot of variety and you would be clutching mostly summon scrolls the whole time.
Yeah I just sell the scrolls, if I’m a mage I can just rely on my magic and use magicka potions if needed. By endgame, I’ll have enough magicka to cast plenty of spells, and enough regen to support me. Other non-mage builds I prefer to stick to that particular play style, and avoid using magical items except enchanted items as that’s helpful late game.
Do a playthrough of Skyrim, equipping each new piece of equipment you find. Regardless of power until you find a new. For example, using a greatsword but killing an enemy who has a dagger. You'll have to use the dagger. You can make your own rules.

The wooden sword is actually quite overpowered with smiting potions especially ones you make (and break) on your own. The wooden sword legendary is stronger than nightingale blade legendary. Quite funny actually. And with broken strong potions this thing can be stupid strong. Like one shot dragon strong
Resto potion glitch, make a 25 million damage wooden sword and proceed to one shot every single Deity you come across while the entire Elder Scrolls pantheon looks on in horror at it's newest one above all, the last dragonborn.

I remember that fight. Was 100-100 sword'n board and made one of those "one hit one kill" things, decapitation-animation move on Alduin. With my mace... I smacked him with a mace so hard he would've been decapitated had he not been a dragon. Skyrim. It just works.

You can do this if you didn't know
You know there a glitch where you can enchant any weapon to do 1mill damage

There's a restoration spell,forgot it's name, which deals damage so it might not be too bad 🤷
