Aw, I'm so sorry - I meant to make some new videos this year, but the spring was taken up with theatre/audio gigs, the summer has been taken up with recovering from surgery (I'm fine now!) - and I have another two gigs scheduled for this autumn and winter, so I don't know if I'll be able to get any videos made, after all. It is my intention to release a couple of new one every year, though... I'm just sorry I haven't been able to, recently. In the meanwhile - if you enjoy Early Modern literature, here's a link to the first episode of me narrating 'The Merry Jests of George Peele', which is a series of Tudor short stories. It's not ASMR, I'm afraid, but hopefully better than nothing 🙂 audioboom.com/posts/8204458-the-jests-of-george-peele-episode-1

... And here's another audio project I directed and also perform in... an adaptation of a medieval mystery play about Noah and his Ark. Again, not ASMR, but quite good fun 🙂 audioboom.com/posts/8339893-noah-s-ark-or-the-newcastle-noah-play-full-cast-audio-adaptation

Thank you for still being here! I haven't had a spare moment for making ASMR this year, but I hope to get back to it in 2023... and meanwhile, this is just a short thank you video, for you and my other subscribers, who have stuck with me! Wishing you a beautiful winter season! ❤

I'm so glad! It's true, I don't do much on here these days (mainly due to lack of time, rather than intention), but my aim was always to help people sleep... so I'm glad you find my videos relaxing :)

How can we not continue to subscribe when your videos are unique? Your ASMR voice is superb and I loved learning about the history of the Nutcracker, Santa Claus, jigsaw puzzles, goth, Dior, the bird museum, etc -- I listen to them again and again. I'll admit I prefer your education videos (which only you do) vs the generic relaxation walk in this video (which many people do, and I was looking for something different). And the house tours aren't as much my thing as the topics.
You mentioned in the "Relaxed Chat" video that it takes a lot of time to research, write, and edit an educational video, and lately you haven't had time. I wonder if you could do some with less research, less polishing, so that it wouldn't take as much of your time but we could still get some videos. Maybe talk about things you already know or are interested in, in either your regular voice or your narration voice or both.
I appreciate you letting us hear your other audio works too. I listened the River Thames one last night, although I only heard the first part before I went to sleep so I'll have to listen to it again. And then Mixcloud played a "Santa is not my Santa", which my awakening state assumed was an ad and that the Thames story would continue after it, but instead it went to another bad Christmas song and I realized the Thames story was finished and it was queuing up other people's videos, so I stopped that. I'm American so I'm not familiar with ResonanceFM or Mixcloud. I haven't watched Deepfakes yet but I will when I find time to sit in front of the computer and watch. I don't know how much I'll understand it if it's British politics. I've also listened to some of the Beyond Shakespeare First Looks, although I've never been able to find the episodes you're in. Which ones are they?

Thank you for your support! I'm guessing I won't be in many of the recently-released First Look videos, because they're released a few months after being recorded - and earlier this year, I was busy directing a theatre production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and so didn't have time to participate in many Zoom sessions. However, one thing I did do for Beyond Shakespeare earlier this year was record an audiobook of 'The Merry Conceited Jests of George Peele' - it's being released in monthly installments on the Beyond Shakespeare podcast and the first part is here, if you're interested!... audioboom.com/posts/8204458-the-jests-of-george-peele-episode-1
