people are giving false information on thunderbird 350x saying there is vibration,to be frank the vibration isnt that severe that it puts down the performance of this bike...i have thunderbird x ,i love driving it,vibrations are minimal like all enfield bikes,one person in his blog was showing the vibrations were so severe that almost he was shaken along with the bike,that was a false information,all bikes require proper maintenance....thunder bird x looks good in its appearance and its performance,for long drives thunder bird x is good,there isnt any pain i observed while driving for 600km

Hello guys this is the first time I am seeing your channel. Really good. And happy to see a couple being riders. Indeed very happy. Now I have a question in my mind and I think I can get answer from you guys as you are being a riders and bike enthusiasts. I think I can start from here. On highway, riding a bike below 80km speed is little cumbersome. Especially for me in long trip. Is it the case with all highway riders? Because I didn't speak with many such riders. So what is the mindset of a highway rider, when riding a bike below 80km speed constantly? Will they actually like it? Or like me, want to cruise more than that? The reason why I am asking this means, personally I rode RE bikes. Especially the 350cc series. Please don't get me wrong, those 350cc category bike are OK kind of thing in terms of engine refinement and vibration up to 70-80km speed. Beyond 80 km speed vibes are increasing terribly. And if I am not wrong, it is not safe for the engine to ride it in high speed with such a high vibes. Because that will spoil the engine. With such a case the practicality is coming as 350cc RE bike are rideable up to 80 km speed without affecting the engine and the rider from vibes and lack of engine refinement. So in long trip we need to stick with 80 below speed. Hence the riding hours will obviously increase, so the saddle time. Unfortunately that longer saddle time is being with average engine refinement and vibes. Altogether it is not gonna be a smooth and comfortable ride right? Then why RE 350 series are being preferable for long trip? I know it is a premium one, classic touch, a bit sentimental, good for mountain ride kind of terrain with its phenomenal torque (personally I experienced it), and a good city rider too with lively feel. But none of these gonna stand on highway right? And none of its characteristics are be with long ride. Then why still its being the preferable one in the diary of long riders or highway riders????? Is it a myth then or any other thing hide behind? I just want to know the exact reason. I am not the hater of RE. I just want to know the exact reason. Please tell me.
Hi Joseph. Sorry for the late reply. Actually we are on a Trip at present and hence get less internet connectivity at all places.
First of all, Highway riding as per us does not always is associated with a particular speed. Yes, of course - if you are cruising over 100KMPH then the riding and saddle time gets lesser. But for us the Mantra is One - Slow is steady and steady is Fast. So we cannot really comment on high speed cruising.
Yes. You are right on one point. If you are cruising a RE Standard / Thunderbird around 80-90 KMPH range - it feels absolutely superrb without any vibrations. Above that the vibrations slowly starts coming in. But comfortability wise it had not bothered us till date.
350 CC is very famous and fast selling. The exact reason we cannot tell. But what we think is that it comes as an affordable range with more or less the better features that very few bikes in that range could provide. Hence it might be very popular. Reasons may of course vary for different people.

Already booked Whimsical white TBX 350 by trading my classic 350. Regarding vibrations I feel that every bike has its own characteristics . So yes there are vibrations but lesser than my classic 350. But I love my classic 350 as well. What about the exhaust note? I felt it little different from current classics. I feel it is little more louder. What you say/feel?
Yes. You are right. Every bike has its own Vibration characteristics.
Royal Enfield have engineered a beautiful Growling sound in this version. Although its not very clear due to bad microphone. Will try to incorporate its original sound on the next vlog. Stay tuned!! :) :)

I'm looking for a bike under 2lkhs.. I had tb350x in my mind, but reading so many negative reviews all over TH-cam, I'm not sure about it... I commute in car everyday, so I'll be using my bike only on weekends mostly for long rides, and obviously I need a smooth ride! Speed is not an issue, but pillion seat matters..
I need an honest suggestion on which cruiser bike to choose... Be it any motorcycle brand..

PS: I've watched your video on 350x long ride too..
If requirement is only for long rides... Go for Thunderbird 350 in the Royal Enfield Range for a smooth cruiser!! For any other manufacturer... you can explore a bit.

Karthik NL test drive and decide. I was also confused but when I test drove the bike it was awesome. The 350x you need aftermarket installation after purchasing this. Only crash guard / Bar end mirrors and seat covers to consider. If you need led lights for highway crushing you can add one.

I have been riding it for 3 months now... The pillion seat is not that comforting. This is the only drawback.. the pillion doesn't feel confident if you cruise at 80-100 range

I took a test ride....felt crazy handlebar vibrations.....did you feel it too...it seems concerning to me ? or because it was a test bike it felt more ?
Vibrations are crazy only after 80KMPH what we felt... below its manageable.. after all Royal Enfield it is!! :)

Ya. Its the microphone issue. The sound is same with a bit of growling mode in it. The mic attached to this camera have some issues in it which we will fix in the next Vlog. :) :)

Not worth the money. Don't be fooled by a one sided video. Visit the showroom and ride one. The new thunderbird is neither a street bike fit for city ride (as it has much less power throttle compared to Duke 390 or dominate) and neither is it a cruiser a(as it's not comfortable at all due to the forward stooped position of the rider).... which, ironically the old thunderbird version had. So all in all its a nothing bike with a status.... #nagharka#naaghaatka.

Please let me know the top speed of 350x.
Till date before the first service we got maximum 100KMPH, although its not advisable for throttling to this level before the first service.Till 100 kmph-the bike performed well without much vibration. However, in our next 1 month will surely notify you about the maximum comfortable speed you can reach upto.

We have it for 1 month of ownership till date. At present it is giving around 30-35 KMPL in city. We will soon review it for a long ride on Highways for mileage.
RoadWanderers - Wander is Life how is the breaking performace
Breaking is smooth and good. As far as Royal Enfield is concerned you get a decent amount of balance in Rear and Front braking combination. Front is more powerful of course. Gear Shift was not smooth before the servicing and now, after its done - it has also become very smooth. Of course in braking we will not get ABS. :) :)
RoadWanderers - Wander is Life i according to govt noms all bikes get factory fitted abs from april 2018. Soo when do we get ABS in 350x. Bcz m waiting for ABS.
