Anima arcanA is the musical meeting of Uyanga Bold and Josh Geisler. Their debut album 'Zephyra' explores expansive states of being through timeless melodic expression and modern atmospheric textures, ideal for relaxation, healing, and meditation. Their collaboration celebrates life, honors diverse cultures, and bridges past and future.
Josh Geisler plays bansuri and Native American flutes, string instruments, keys, and electronics. He spent 9 years honing his craft while touring as the bandleader with Cirque du Soleil’s “TOTEM“, with whom he performed 2650 shows around the globe. His training also includes extensive studies in India with Bansuri legend Pandit Raghunath Seth and Sarod Maestro Pandit Vikash Maharaj, years of gigs with a wide variety of artists in New York, as well as a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music.
Uyanga Bold is a singer incorporating “open throat singing” of Mongolian urtiin duu and Balkan female folk singers, alongside operatic bel canto, Hindustani classical, and shamanic throat singing. She trained with the esteemed Ts. Chuluuntsetseg and Dorjdagva Myagmarsuren, Tzvetanka Varimezova, Rhona Klinghofer, Dayita Datta and Rageshri Das. Hailing from Mongolia, she is featured in Disney’s remake of Mulan, and the Avatar and Spider-Man franchises. Forbes says “her voice harkens back to ancient civilizations,” and she has been nominated as “Female Singer of the Year” by Cosmopolitan Magazine. She has appeared internationally on television, radio, and in live performances, reaching over 40 million views across all platforms.
