Joscho Stephan & friends - Beautiful Love

2022, on november 25th Joscho Stephan, Volker Kamp, Sven Jungbeck and Costel Nitescu performed an extraordinary concert at Gartenheim Hannover, inside the AudimaGH`s. One of many highlights was this version of `Beautiful love`, a famous Jazztune written by Wayne King, Victor Young & Egbert Van Alstyne and played over the last century by many legends like Bing Crosby.
Besides the emotional arrangement of the tune, Joscho himself & Costel Nitescu showed off their brilliant soloing skills. It was in the second set of this great concert.
Am 25.11.2022 gaben Joscho Stephan, Volker Kamp, Sven Jungbeck and Costel Nitescu ein fantastisches Konzert in der Reihe Jazz Club Hannover by Gartenheim im AudimaGH`s Hannover. Eines der vielen Highlights an diesem Abend war die emotionale Version von `beautiful love`, bei der Joscho und Costel Nitescu mit herausragenden Solo Passagen glänzten. Joscho zeigte hier auch seine unglaublichen Blues Skills, obwohl die Version als Bolero arrangiert wurde.
Es war ein Sahnehäubchen eines unvergesslichen Konzertabends.
Die Konzertreihe Jazz Club Hannover by Gartenheim offeriert jährlich 4-5 Konzerte auf dem Verwaltungsgelände der Wohnungsgenossenschaft Gartenheim in Hannover.
Am 20.04.2023 findet diese Kultveranstaltung ihre Fortsetzung!

I hear you. Even though Joe Pass was a finger picker. This plectrum come big thumb Montgomery-esk performance was sublime. One can only wonder, in time how magnificent. A rendition Matteo Mancuso will be able to execute this tune.
