I purchased the EZ Link and emissions intact tunes from Corey a couple months ago and I have to agree it runs amazing. I have a 2018 Ford F250 6.7L with S&B intake and 3'' AFE Charge pipes. Everything else is stock. Would recommend this purchase.
Swap your valve body on your platinum truck, i bet it fixes your issues. I had hard downshifts, weird flares, random early shifts, rev slams, all kinds of weird crap. I just swapped my valve body to a new OEM ford one, reprogrammed the new valve body and solenoid codes into the TCM, followed the ford relearn procedure and it fixed all my issues. I thought my trans was smoked or had a mechanical failure. Just finished driving it 3k miles around the country while towing a trailer with no issues, and it shifts smooth as butter again!
Thank u for taking the time to make these videos I love the channel please keep up the 6.7 powerstroke content! If u have time to answer this I got a question, on ur one video I ran a wire to the AUX switch inside the truck for the ABS fuse is this possible to do on a 2016 f350
@@TopCorey thank u for the response most you tubers don’t answer back! I’ll definitely look into finding the fuse. Do u have any experience with the 2011-16 6.7s are they as good as the 17 and newer trucks? Yes I heard about the 11/12 turbo issues but everyone I know that has those trucks never had a single issue
I never personally had a 11-16 truck but worked on a bunch. for sure 2015 and up has most issues addressed. BUT my brother in law has a 2011 6.7 and its stock everything except tune and exhaust and it rips. Theres about 160xxx miles on it too. But I have seen tons of bad 11-14 turbos at my friends shop. Those turbos don't like to be aggressively tuned, I could be wrong but the turbo can only take so much before it over works its self.
jerry, i personally did the SEND IT switch for my 16. the way i did it was tapping into the driver front side wheel speed sensor. you use a relay and wire it normally closed. use the power from the aux switch to kill the circuit(open circuit). this way you get to keep the locking rear diff. if you just simply pull the fuse, it will disable the locking rear diff.
Corey, how does the tow/haul work? Will the single files remove speed limiter? Will tune writer work with you on personalizing the TCM file? I have 3.55s and 37s on a 2.5” level and I’m pretty picky on shift firmness. Thanks man.
Tow/Haul functions as it does in factory form. With referencing a different converter lockup/shift schedule compared to normal mode. We provide 2 different trans tunes for you and if we need to refine or tweak them we absolutely can.

Very curious myself to see how these trucks do towing heavy running on a hot tune. Have a 21 f350, still stock. Before that was a 17 ram 2500, ran it on the 200 hp tune all the time, even when Towing my 16000 lb toy hualer through places like idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. I hope the ford can handle the same obuse as the Cummins, which had 113000 miles on it when I sold it.
And I put the truck on a CAT scale that day. It was 9620 lbs. 2017 block, 2012 heads, 2015 turbo, 5" exhaust from turbo back with 42" muffler because I don't like loud. Using an old x4 programmer with custom tune made back in 2015. My buddy is installing a Mustang Dyno in his shop, can't wait to see the numbers. Figuring between 600 and 700hp. The emissions garbage is what kills mileage, and it's impossible to tune for mileage with emissions.
@@TopCorey and as a Ford Senior diesel tech I absolutely hate easy link programmers. They corrupt the pcm file so the vehicle is not identifiable with factory diagnostics. Very frustrating working on those trucks because the first thing I have to do it remove the programming and put back to stock, then create a season file in IDS, then re-install the programming, and of course at that point the problems are usually hard to re-create due to dtcs being wiped.

I tried the "platinum" def for a few months, and I noticed absolutely no difference in anything about how the truck ran.
If I were to get the compliant EZLYNK then chose to delete the truck later, would there be any problems or would it still run the tunes like normal?
