The best part of this story is that both Mr. Bennett and Mr. Darcy LISTEN Lizzie's-- even when it was painful for Darcy he respected her wishes and so does her dad! Remember Mr. Collins just talked over Lizzie. Love that!
The foreshadowing in the line "Someone will catch your eye, and then you'll have to watch your tongue" is especially funny because, yes, someone does catch her eye, but then she absolutely does not watch her tongue, but is being snarky with him for 2/3 of the movie. 😆 Also, nice bit of opposite foreshadowing when she says "Men are so easy to judge" - and then proceeds to completely misjudge not one, but two men: Darcy obviously, but also Wickham, who she liked at first, and then he turned out to be an utter jerk.
I always judge a guy by his facial reaction to the second proposal scene. You didn’t disappoint. Nice job! I love the symbolism of her taking his hand at the second proposal, after he had asked her to take his hand the first time. Sigh….. You need to see the US version ending that all us silly Americans love.
There's also Lost In Austen television series what is one of my favorite version of Pride and Prejudice. A modern English woman Amanda Price goes through the portal and ends in the story while and falls in love with Darcy while same time Elizabeth Bennet ends in her place in modern world. Lost in Austen series is full here in You Tube. Lost in the Austen series is a very enjoyable, funny and romantic also.
There's a 1940 version too. The era was changed to a little later. It's a cute fun version (some purists don't like it or 2005, but I love to see variations).
How absolutely lovely to watch this movie with an intelligent man who GETS IT!
Thank you. Appreciated

Jena Malone -- Lydia -- also in _Hunger Games_ movies.
You're absolutely right. She was in those films.
@@XaviersFilmViews This cast has a lot of sci fi in their past or future (from the time of the filming). :)
