I just use the last caught shiny, no matter the cp :) It's easier for me to heal and easier for other people to take down in an area with not too many poke players. It is also a way to show off my latest shiny catch or a shiny I'm proud of!
I should start doing that. Unless I’m at the biggest park in my city, my Blissey will sit in a gym for 4-5 days.

I just put cool looking stuff in gyms. I take out gyms if they’re low and brute force if they’re not. It’s never been any more thought than that.
Yeah same, cute shiny stuff I've best buddied. But I think Brandon is in Philippines which is super active iirc so makes sense to use bulky Pokemon to hold gyms.

Gym system is really boring and needs a rework. most ppl just take turns for the coins anyway.
Pokemon GO is one big reason I want to visit Singapore at some point.
As a person who enjoys taking down gyms, Level 50 Hundo Blisseys/Chanseys/Togekiss/Snorlaxes/Gardevoirs (just to name the same few I always see on gyms) don't usually scare me since I'm using a Level 50 91IV Shadow Machamp which makes it easier. Terrakion is currently on my target list of Pokemon to power up and invest in tho.
intresting, what’s the reasoning behind powering up terrakion? i’m asking bc since he’s coming to raids again, im trying to get myself a good one. is terrakion good for gyms, PvP, master league etc?

@@TommyTL070 Terrakion is exceptionally good as a Fighting Type Raid Attacker, and is known as the Blissey Slayer. It's the best Non-Mega Fighting Type Attacker, with Shadow Machamp coming in at a close second.
However, personally I found investing in a Shadow Machamp to be much more reliable until I get a Terrakion since it's easier to get it to Level 50, and unless ur comparing it with a Terrakion which is also Level 50, Shadow Machamp outperforms in terms of DPS. TDO (Total-Damage Output) however, Terrakion still outclasses due to it having a higher CP, because of it's well balanced stats across Attack/Defense/Hp and it's Rock Sub-Typing.

i have a Innovative Idea for the Future of Pokémon GO - Introduction of IV Candies
I’d like to share an idea with you that could further enhance the diversity and customization options in Pokémon GO. How about introducing “IV Candies”? These rare candies could allow trainers to grant an additional IV point to a Pokémon.
Imagine a trainer with a 14 Attack stat on their Charizard; by using this IV Candy, they could increase the Attack to 15. This might be an exciting way to further improve the IV values of their favorite Pokémon.
I understand the importance of balance, but perhaps IV Candies could be as rare and precious as Master Balls. This could not only provide an additional layer of gameplay depth but also strengthen the bond between players and their Pokémon.

Anything that resist fighting is a good gym defender most people use fighting to attack

I just use bad IV Pokemon that have high cp, this way when they faint I just throw them away, job done, and goodbye, this way I don't spend any items on them.
I feel like gym defenders are irrelevant, given enough time, any Pokemon will fall regardless of the trainer attacking. What really needs to be done is some work on the notifications for defending gyms.... By the time I get a notification and open pogo right away, the gym has been taken out for a few minutes already.
hundo max blissey takes like 4 - 5 charged moves instead of the usual 1 from other pokemon@@darkrai7597
instead of renaming each pokemon you should just tag them
I put Pokémon in the gym that the heart meter goes down slowly on. Like ghost type for example.
But hopefully one day we'll be able to put legendaries in gyms!

I always have (high) pokemon that I can throw away, those I dump into a gym. When it returns, I do not heal it, I discard of it.
over here the gyms arent that big of a struggle. if i wanna make it really not appealing to knock me out of the gym before the 8 hours are up i indeed dump a blissey in it. but for the rest i like to use my shiny pokemon or favorite pokemon :)
I have a question if anyone can help... using poke genie I don't really understand the feature that tells you how high and how much candy to upgrade a pokemon to max before exceed leagues. on one of them the cp bar got full before it hit the cp max it said it could reach on poke genie.. so my question is does the cp bar get bigger as you level up trainer? Is it cause I'm not high enough level or do I miss understand this feature? Thanks to anyone who helps

This is the opposite of what you want to do 😂. Just throw a mid pokemon so it holds through the day and gets knocked off by next day

When you pay for your Pokémon, you can do this. But I don’t want a tainted account. I’ll stay grinding for my stardust.

I think if we use strong Pokémon to defend gym that not great idea because strong pokemon too hard defeat and if too hard defeat you take long time to get pokecoin me is using not strong Pokémon to defend gym and me get pokecoin faster you guys agree like
