I would agree the direction of _Smash Bros._ started going downhill after (or in, though not totally evident then) _Brawl,_ and aside from that, too much of a good thing can be bad; even if you assumed Nintendo has the best characters (out of the ones they even deign to use), it's like, the same old guys over and over, which is actually why I clung to _PSASBR,_ despite its lack of polish and success.
So much so, that I even speculated that Nicktoons could enter the Smash-style scene, although I originally pictured it as a crossover _with_ Playstation....

That is true that it really is the same characters over and over. I actually like that point. And if you don't mind me asking what is PSASBR? also there is a Playstation smash bros. Though I don't think it took off

Me though, I like it _more_ than SSB proper, but I also get that barely anyone unironically agrees.
