Mysterious, Ancient Granaries of Kpatiritinga 🇬🇭 Discover North East Ghana

- Follow William as he explores a spot on the Gambaga Escarpment near Sakogu where a mysterious collection of ancient adobe structures stand hidden. Presumed to be granaries, their origins are unknown but theories connect them to the 17th century’s wars and/or slave raids in Mamprugu.

I hope the Ghana Board of Monuments will be able to date the granaries with the specimens they collected.
There are potsherds lying around the site so those may provide clues.
