Always rush to hit the play button when I find one of your videos. I can't pick a favorite because I love them all. Thanks again for adding joy to my day once again.
Thank goodness! I feared you'd gone on a long summer vacation and we wouldn't hear from you till September. The title perfectly fits the ambience of this piece. "Sprightly" is a word that quickly comes to mind. And such a mellow key. The deft page-turning reminds me of my youth with piano.
Thank you! The only thing different in this video is that my mom opened the window blinds 😎. So happy the quality looks better just using the natural light.
Wow! I am on day 7 of learning this piece and am only able to play the first few lines. I find the 5th measure tricky and not up to speed. Your talent is inspiring. Now that I have found your channel, I need to binge watch videos after work.
You can do it! This piece does take a lot of practice and attention to detail. I started by taking my time at the fermata in measure four and playing really slowly. Over time I got faster and faster.
@user-ov6kl5ho7q Many thanks! Yes! I played that one for the wedding party processional last week. Here is an older video of me playing the Canon in D: th-cam.com/video/75Q-zgegRTQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=y0t_IaLM3H1CtolV
hehehehe....I wondered if anyone would notice that! Sometimes the page turn is the hardest part of learning a piece of music!

Having taught myself to play drums years ago at about 10 years of age (61 now), I understand how much dexterity it takes to be a musician. You are more apt than I ever was which was made more evident watching and hearing you play without breaking cadence as you turned each page. Oh, I noticed alright. Stick with it and you'll be a sensation. And never forget how important music is to the world. We need talented people like you to brighten the world. 🙂
That’s awesome! Do you still play? I’m saving up for a new iPad that will hold all my sheet music. It comes with a pedal that turns the page for you. Until then, I’m turning pages on my own .

@@MiriamsMusicRoom Look at turning pages as another variant to expand your independence. Liken it to Tommy Emmanuel playing the main melody and the bass lines on the guitar at the same time, or adding the voice as another instrument to your regiment while playing the harp. Back in the day, on the old Johnny Carson shows, his band leader, Doc Severinsen could actually whistle one song while humming another at the same time. Talk about utilizing different zones of the brain. It's actually good practice to incorporate a simple task like page turning to give you that added edge that leads to unconscious competence that top musicians possess. When you're able to play without thought, and when there's no discrepancy between conception of an idea and the ability to play it, then you've reached the pinnacle of musicianship. Watch a great drummer like Dave Weckl to understand how he uses all four limbs independently while making it look easy. It is NOT easy as any drummer knows. LoL

Here's Virgil Donati showing a great independence exercise that 99% of drummers on earth can't do. You have to be born with a certain degree of independence to begin with. Most people don't have that gift. I certainly don't. Watch how he does the exercise on one side, then switches to the other. It's about impossible for most humans but he does it easily. Listen to the audience laugh because most are drummers and know how hard this is. - Virgil Donati Paradiddle Groove. th-cam.com/video/W-2Ut3heVKU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cxpw5IEVI0w5872p

Wow, thank you! 😊. It’s soooo cool that you can make harps! What kind of harps do you make?
for now Iam specialized for portable ones. Small harps with big sound =) 27 string, C3-A6
Pure massive wood for body and soundboard as well
I was just gifted a 26 string portable harp. That is so cool that you can make them! Quite a skilled talent.
wow thats so great gift! =) who gaves it to you?
And what maker/company made it?
@@HarmonieZvuku-harfy-kalimby a family friend moved into a house and found it in a closet. It is a Stoney End.
Beautifully played by an equally beautiful young lady whose long hair pleases me mightily.
Thank you!
Ew dude
арфа удивительный инструмент. мне кажется, что струн намого меньше чем надо
My harp has 34 strings, but they do make bigger harps with more strings. I love figuring out how to make complicated songs work on just 34 strings! 🎵
