this car sounds happy to me. dont know how to explain it but I couldnt stop smiling when I first heard the engine turn on and saw it drifting in that closed oval at the beginning. awesome.
They need to make the sport itself cheaper because 3 manufacturers in a world championship is a joke, legitimately the only flaw in this category of Motorsport too, except maybe the points system Edit: You're welcome.
Quality video and info as always What a joke. Force them to have it, then removing it, as part the plan to entice other brands to enter a championship that has only 3. Absolute Joke
@@tbtstt The main reason why hybrid is gone is because hybrid system manufacturer (Compact Dynamics) made changes to servicing, bearing Rally1 teams with higher costs of hybrid repairs on their shoulders. If I were FIA I'd make the rule "almost like" in GrA that OEMs need to produce 1-2000 pieces of the base-wrc version and sell them. Using series-production engines and chassis would make the whole wrc project cheaper. Allowing different aero package would still make a huge difference but using a street-legal base version could reach the target.
Honestly that would be a pretty good idea. It would require manufacturers to only take one of their existing models, beefing it up a bit and building enough of those beefed up machines for consumers while making a WRC version of that car. Honestly it would be a pretty good way to not only attract more manufacturers but also make the WRC cars more marketable and relatable. It'd be the true return of the saying "Win in Sunday, sell in Monday".
i have been wondering this heavy understeer is preferred by the driver or in general for rally ? Or its just a side effect of the 4wd. not much sideways action and 4wd drifts into corners. Oh nvm they "fixed" the understeer at the end of the video :D
Seems a bit to understeery for tight corners. Lacks induced oversteer by throttle by just a tad. But they probably figure that out until it has to race.
I had for a short time Yaris GR , the civil version. Once I had Dodge Challenger and the second time Mustang Shelby. They had zero chances in the first 80-100 meters.
