Wow they actually caught that ekko had a crush on her. It’s definitely implied here, but iirc it was explicitly stated in the old lore from the game.
It's a quote Ekko says to Jinx in game.
"I had a crush… until you started talking to the gun."
Imagine how many times Echo has said to Jinx “Stop working for Silco and come help me do good for people instead.” He never blamed Jinx for what everyone else blamed her for, and he was the only person she’d been close to that also held her accountable for the true crimes she committed later. Echo is the good that Jinx felt doomed not to be. I felt like she pulled the grenade on the bridge because she’d rather die than taint echo by him being forced to end her. It’s very complicated love.

The Look Jinx gives Ekko, was an expression that spoke volumes, It was as if she realized who she was fighting, it was like she was saying "I missed you" "forgive me" I am sorry" "I love you" And "Goodbye". All in one look, There is definitely Love in both they're eyes, and from Jinx's perspective she just lost her sister again and to an enforcer no less,the same people who killed her parents, once she realizes she was fighting the only childhood friend who does not mentally torment her and only remembers the good times with him. She could not take it anymore, so she tried to take her own life. At the start of the Episode Ekko told Vi pretty much to not even bother reaching Jinx & When Ekko stopped punching her, "It was at this moment,he knew he F'd Up". Ekko saw his Friend right in front of him. The Creators said S2 will be a season of Opposites, so breaking that down, Those who had hope for Jinx in S1 will have none in S2 and those who had none for Jinx in S1, Will have Hope for her in S2. Ekko I think will see that she is worth saving, Ekko is the Boy Savior....her Boy Savior, if the #Timebomb theory is true they were a thing. Nah ekko's hair gets a pass. Since you're just watching this now you wouldn't know but he was technically the first character after killmonger to get this cut. He's basically grandfathered in.
Thats actually a big fact, And I think it's about what the character does with it and the impact that they make, An honestly I think I like it more than the mohawk look in the game. Feels more culturally modern 🤔

Yeah we basically have the same stance on it then.
Like don't get me wrong I agree I am 100% tired of them sticking this look on every random black male character they see.
But for him, it was semi unique at the time and it is leagues better than the mohawk.(Which isn't necessarily bad, it's just not as good.) Especially for arcane where ekko is more hardened from having to survive fighting silco compared to the game where he's just a happy go lucky teen adventurer.
Silco was reminding the chem barons that he's an OG - they stop the ventilation fans and drop a can of "old air" from before these young punks were even born, showing them how bad the air was before him and Vander worked their asses off to give Undercity basic air that was more breathable (though still too dirty to topsiders who usually wore masks when they came down like the Enforcers.)
7:35 The Hexgate goes to different regions on the same planet, it is not Earth and there is many different species and antities on RuneTerra the world they live in
I've been looking for any fictional property that wasn't Star Wars where Earth doesn't exist there are to many works of Fiction that set stories on Earth or have something to do with Earth I want more stories where our real life planet is non existent in any way at all
Vi and Caitlyn aren't dating yet, but they're laying the groundwork.
The scene between Ekko and Jinx is kind of a hint toward Ekko's powers in game, but I wouldn't suggest looking that up until after s2 because I believe they'll be exploring that to catch up all the characters on how they are in current lore/game. He did have a crush on her, and has in game interactions seeing her in it, and the Enemy music video also shows more of their childhood in some scenes as well, but I know one or all of you has already seen it. Good watch after finishing ep 9 though.
And the Hexgates only help travel to other cities/countries. There's a few that are interesting enough for their next Arcane series. I'm hoping for Bilgewater (pirate area) or Ionia (asian inspired country)
You are correct Vi and Caitlyn aren't dating - yet. But the groundwork is there.
I think the answers to both the silco and Mel is they care for them also but also manipulation is part of the relationships.
It's different regions not planet that they travel too
Ep 7 is one of the best episodes. These final two though... purest emotional rollercoaster.
I’m trying to think of my rating I think it’s 9 as the best then 3 then 7 and those are top 3. They’re all good 6 and 4 might be next for me.

Binged the entire series 7 times now, and I have to be closing on 100 reaction series. I still see new things all the damned time.
@@williamklett6660 3, 9, 7 for me. But I can see it going any other way. 7 has the most artistically genius scene. 3 had the most unexpected and brutal emotional gut punch. Won't elaborate on 9 yet, but it had a lot of great stuff.

Funny that you say that about Ekko's hair. His ingame hairstyle is different and I like that one better too. Most people disagree. Dunno why they force that crap

I wasn't actually thinking about how long ago this came out though. So it was actually before a lot of other people start trying to integrate it. So its not that bad
