It's good that India is being considered for a permanent seat in the UN, which seems about right. But this raises a question: if we think the UN has lost some of its relevance, why does India still need a permanent seat?
It's irrelevant but powerful
Maybe it's not working good but have power enough to rule the world
Hence, 'Reforms', is what we're asking including Membership & Veto.
Instead of giving more veto power, veto power should be taken away from permanent five. And decisions should be taken by majority consensus. Giving veto power will lead more use of veto which will make more decisions ineffective
